Wilkinsons Wilko Shower Curtain
by cornishchic My bathroom is quite plain and the white shower curtains I normally use add to the plain feeling. Shower curtains can be so cheap so instead of washing shower curtains I tend to just go out and buy a new curtain to replace the old one when it starts to look a little used and run down. The shower curtain I'm using at the moment is this ... one from Wilkinsons. The shower curtain is available to purchase from Wilkinson, either in store or online but a delivery charge will apply. The shower curtain retails at only £3. This shower curtain is wilko's own brand, it isn't the value brand but the next one up. It comes in a few different colours, blue, green and the normal white. I have this in the plain white colour. It came packaged inside a transparent plastic bag so you can see exactly what colour you are getting. The curtain itself measures approximately 180 centimetres x 180 centimetres. Mine goes on the curtain pole along the top of my bath and hangs at a nice length, it goes right into the bath so you don't have to worry about water getting out when you are in the shower. The curtain pulls right the way across the bath with a little gap at one end but that is no trouble for me as I don't use the whole bath to have a shower. The curtain has holes in the top so you need some curtain rings to hang it up, it's worth noting that these don't come included so if you don't already have some you'll have to purchase these also. The material of the shower curtain is totally waterproof and in the 6 or so months I've been using it I haven't experienced any problems of water escaping into the bathroom at all. In this time there have also been no wear or tear to the curtain and it's still in a fantastic condition. If I get shower gel or hair products on the curtain I simply use the shower head to spray it off and there is no trace left. I'd definitely recommend this shower curtain from Wilkinsons. Not only is it cheap but it is made to a good standard. Ours has lasted 6 months so far and has still got loads of life left. Read the complete review |

Wilkinsons Right Price Face Cloth
by kama0529 I bought the Wilkinsons Right Price Face Cloth a while ago from Wilkinsons in Cheltenham for the princely sum of 22p. I do find that I can often find some good deals in Wilkinsons......true, it does have a lot of crap, but it does have some good basic bargains in there - and I was hoping that this face cloth would prove to be another ... one. Unfortunately, I don't think it was the best buy I've ever made and it felt every bit of the 22p that I paid for it! This flannel is made from 100% white cotton bit it is very thin and limp and really feels very poor quality. The cotton feels pretty rough and grainy and like it's been made from the cheapest cotton imaginable. While it is something that could feasibly be used to wipe a face, it really isn't something that I'd want to be using every day on my face because it feels so rough and like a flannel version of sandpaper! In addition to this, it frays very easily and started to look ragged after just a few uses - and so I think it might be the type of thing that might be useful if you were going backpacking or something and wanted something disposable that you didn't have to keep carting around. While it can be washed, the more you wash it the thinner it becomes. I learnt after a few uses that I wasn't going to use it on me or my children, but I did use it on my dogs for a month or so. However, after a months very occasional use, I had to bin it because it was just threadbare and not really any use for anything. While 22p sounds like a bargain, I would suggest keeping your 22p and not buying this product! Read the complete review |

Wilkinsons Right Price Face Cloth
by xxfoxyredxx I own a lot of flannels. The reason for this is that I use them to remove the likes of face masks or for scrubbing off say fake tan that is stubborn and I tend to use them once and wash them straight after using them and thats the reason I have a stack of them. I have what I consider to be my best flannels, ones that are ... Egyptian cotton no less and soft, fluffy and bouncy but they don't get involved with really dirty tasks. Because I use alot of my flannels for somewhat mucky jobs if I see them cheap anywhere and they feel good enough quality (not one bit hard) I will buy them and these Wilkinsons Price Right Pure Cotton Face Cloths costing a mere 25p each seemed worth a go to me. My cloth simply came with a red label on it telling me what it was and then on the other side that is cotton and machine washable and contact details for Wilkinsons are given. Simple label to remove, this is. The cloth itself is white and I have only seen this option of colour available. It's slightly rough material and doesn't feel at all fluffy and it is a bit thin but when I picked it up in store I felt that maybe that cotton it is made of would go softer over time (Iwith being used and washed). It is a large square shape and is edged which means the edges are sewn so it doesn't fall apart. Other than that it is incredibly plain looking. As I have already mentioned this is machine washable on a 40c wash and depending on what wash products you use it can come up clean. I haven't found it to go softer really over time through washing but at the same time it hasn't gone thread bare or anything like that and has held together very well. Basically this is an economy face flannel and although it isn't rubbish quality it really is only worth the 25p you'll pay for it at the same time! Only available in Wilkinson stores.
