One thing I have discovered a real penchant for, especially since buying my children pets, is having a nice smelling environment, of course having a clean area is a start, but sometimes a quick spray of something delicious smelling is enough to perk up a room, hence this review!

The product I will now review is - "Airwick all in one - Peach & jasmine".

I have only two criteria for an air freshener, one that it be something that I would consider delicious smelling and two, that that it removes the offending scent (if indeed any is there!) and doesn't just mingle with it, I remember one of my work colleagues moaning that there is no worse smell than that of poo and deodorant, with the first being a not pleasant smell anyway (yes I know natural!), but mixed with a scent that doesn't mask it, really making it hit the back of the throat!

This particular freshener comes in a full sized canister, with a spray anyway lid, this ensures accurate spraying, preferably upwards and away from soft furnishings as it does come out in a wet mist.

There is plenty of information on the can, with there being the statement that not only is this a scented spray, but also an odour eliminator, with the delicious and fruity scent of peach and jasmine, peach I like but I can't say as I have ever smelled jasmine, so at that point I reserved judgement.

I have to be honest this can and many of it's predecessors have lived almost entirely in the toilet room, so this was always going to have it's work cut out for it, especially with there being two men in my house, well, ok one man, a little monster and two guinea pigs that live in a cage outside the toilet in the hall!

To use you spray a short burst upwards and as I mentioned earlier away from soft furnishings and from my experience not too close to laminate flooring either, as it provides the same effect as it would if it were polish. Making the floor extremely slippy!

The scent take s a couple of seconds to disperse into the air, with it starting as a light mist then quite quickly dissipating into the air, then the scent takes over.

Though this is advertised as peach and jasmine, the peach scent is the most prevalent scent, with there being the subtlest whiff of flowers being there, but that is soon covered up by the sweetest and freshest smelling peach scent I have ever smelled, it really is quite delicious.

Of course the biggest test is to see if it does cover up and rid the house of the nastiest of niffs (I'm sorry, the entire review seems to have been centred around poo!), which it does in a fashion.

The scent of peach is so strong that you would be forgiven to think that it has indeed removed the scent entirely, rather than masking it, and though the underlying "smell" is considerably reduced I am afraid it doesn't completely remove it, so after a few minutes the peach and jasmine scent wears off and the underlying smell is distinct again.

Price wise this cost me £1.00 from my local Asda, which in fairness is the norm just lately, with there being a wide selection of scents available, and some rather lovely Christmas scents just on the shelves too!

This is a nice enough spray that is ideal for freshening up any room, but not too good at actually masking smells!

      Thanks for reading x

A sweet smelling highly effective air freshener

This aerosol air freshener is such a yummy smell. Its like being in an orchard on a Summers day.

It is the only one that I have tried that can actually claim to do what it states on the tin.

It has a 4 in 1 action that not only eliminates those nasty after toilet odours but cooking too, even garlic and fish. It also is very quick acting in case anyone drops around at short notice which can be embarassing if you have food smelling furnishings or even animal odours which they say are way more noticeable to anyone who doesn't own pets.

One of the other things I really like about it is that once you even spray the smallest amount it lingers and if you leave a window open the scent with a gentle breeze gets wafted around the house for a lovely clean smell.

I have also sprayed it onto furnishings, cushions etc which is very effective also.

It is well worth the cost and last such a long time, I have had this cannister for months now and use it every day.

If you want a quality product without an inflated price try this, you wont be dissapointed.
