Airwick Mulled Wine Aerosol
Advantages: The scent really lingers, easy to use
Disadvantages: The scent of this isn't that great to my nostrils
With the run up to Christmas I went a bit mad on festive purchases to be honest. I spotted this aerosol in my local Poundland store costing of course a pound and bought it because I thought it would be a nice christmassy fragrance but I do own four rather beautiful but whiffy hamsters, a cat and I smoke so I do like to try to keep my home smelling fresh and sweet whenever and wherever possible!
The packaging of this is nice enough. The can contains 240ml of the product and the can in long and red, white and green in colour and on the front of it we are clearly told what it is and who it is by and there is a picture shown of a rosy red apple and a cinnamon stick then on the on the back of the can other information given includes being told a little bit about the product and cautions are given as well as the size stated and contact details for the manufacturer are clearly given. Its a nice looking can this one and informative enough too and to the top of it there is a bright red plastic push button feature with a decent size hole within it for the spray to easily come out of.
To use this of course you simply spray it into the air and the spray is aerosol as I mentioned before and I find I don't need to to use very much of this at all to get the waft of a fragrance! It is a damp spray but not soaking wet or drippy or anything and the fragrance is sweet and pungent with a real wine sort of fragrance to it with the base note being the crispy apple.
However I have to admit I'm not overwhelmed by the scent of this one. I like the apple and alcohol sort of mix but can't really smell the cinnamon this has to it only really lightly if I take a big sniff however this is decent and well enough blended, does disguise nasty niffs and freshen up a room and linger about for a good half hour and the scent of it is slightly sort of warming too.
However as much as I like the quality of this one it isn't one I would buy again but only due to the scent of it not being as nice as I'd like it to be! Not for me this one sadly but if you sniff it and you happen to like it then its a worthwhile home fragrance to be fair to it.
Available in all good supermarkets etc at about £2.00 a can if you can't find it on offer as I did!
Summary: A decent quality purchase its just not a scent I would buy again
