Living by myself and having no man in tow means I have to consult no one about what I buy for my home. I have lived with men before where they had a massive aversion to the colour pink and I love it so I have splashes of girly pink all over the place and my bathroom has a bright fuchsia pink colourscheme going on in the way of accessories at the moment!
Up until recently I had a white Asda Smartprice toilet brush that cost me under 50p and a pink plastic bin I bought from Poundland but sick of things in my home not matching up I decided a couple of weeks back to invest in more matching pieces and these I found in Argos costing £11.99 which I thought was a great price to pay.
They came in a box already made up apart from the toilet brush needing to be screwed on to the lid of the thing which was ever so easy!
These come in several colour options which are Ocean Blue, Jet Black, Super White, Lagoon, Funky Fuchsia (the set that I have of course!), Apple Green, True Purple and Purple Fizz and lots of other stuff is available in these colour options as well so you can get matching your home out and no matter the colour these sets all retail at the same price but as well as that this colour match range doesn't only have bathroom stuff available within it....no.... kitchen, bedroom things all-sorts!
What You Get:
First off lets talk about the bin shall we? Mine is mainly the bright pink colour and its a metal on the outside and the inside is wipe clean black plastic and for ease of emptying it has an integrated chrome handle and that chrome matches the round lid, the base and the black and chrome pedal bin function. It holds 3 Litres of rubbish, is all wipe clean and is a round shape. I really like the bin and it doesn't looks cheap, personally I pop a carrier bag in it to keep it as clean and hygienic as I can and its not a large object but perfect for a bathroom in its size in my opinion.
The Toilet Brush And Holder:
This is cylinder in shape and of course matches the bin in style and colour perfectly. It is a more cylinder shape than the bin and tall and has a chrome base which keeps is sturdy, is black plastic inside so wipe clean once again and it has a long chrome handle to use. The brush is decent quality and white plastic and as I mentioned earlier with no tools or effort required from me I simply screwed it into the handle within seconds. The only issue with this is that the brush cannot be replaced as it fits into the casing but its easy enough to rinse it clean and I do appreciate there is nothing to rust or go horrid in the actual casing which has been a slight problem with others I have owned such as this in the past.
All in all I think this set is a really great buy. It is plain but stylish enough and I like the fact that I already have bought the matching colour towels from the range and can buy bathroom scales, lampshades and even toilet seats from this range if I want to to get a complete colour match and feel that the items I have bought from this range are good value for my money on the whole and I am really glad I own this set!
Only available from Argos.
