I bought these pegs last year when our pegs had run down to such a level that I couldn't even hang a full load of washing out, the oegs costs £1 from Asda and you get 36 pegs in the packet.

The pegs are packaged in a very simple plastic wrapper which is discarded after opening, the pegs inside are green, blue and purple in colour. The pegs are made of string plastic and are the usual spring loaded pegs which you press together at the top to cause the bottom to open so you can put them over your clothing on the washing line. There are a couple of packs of these pegs available but all that differs is the colour as far as I can see, you can get them in all black and in red, orange and green.

I am very lazy with my pegs and honestly can't even tell you where I have put my peg bag as I always just leave them on the line, these pegs have been on the line all winter and over the last couple of weeks I have been using these pegs again making the most of the warm weather. I have found that a couple of the pegs have cracked but are still useable and I have found a couple have crumbled but the majority of the pegs are doing really well and are still perfectly useful for the job.

These pegs are wider than most standard pegs which makes it easy to push them together for use which to me makes no difference but for someone like my father who has Parkinsons this is a major plus point. The pegs are attached to cardboard when they are new so if you don't need them all you can keep them all together easily. The pegs work well and keep the clothes in place from heavy towels to baby clothing.

I would recommend these pegs they do the job and so far I have been using them for 18 months and most of the pegs remain.
