While browsing the party section in Asda I saw a very attractive packet of neon straws which for a party are perfect, and for kids they're very attractive so perfect for children's parties. I have not seen anything like these in other supermarkets. I know Sainsbury's and Tesco do straws for kids but they're not fluorescent neon! All the ... Read the complete review

I like to keep straws in the house for when my teeth are sensitive to try and save them a little bit, also they are handy to use at parties, especially for children parties. Also I would use them quite often to drink out of tins of coke as I do not like drinking from a tin. I bought in a pack of them recently and used them at my fiancés ... Read the complete review

~~~~~~~~~~ Cheapo straws ~~~~~~~~~~ My daughter, who is nearly four, likes to have her milk before bedtime in a cup with a straw. I also tend to give her a straw if she has juice to drink, as it's supposed to be better for her teeth. However drinking straws are one of those items that I certainly don't expect to pay a lot ... ASDA has been a revelation to my life due its competitive pricing compared to other supermarkets. In this packet you get 100 straws for £1.50 however near BBQ time in the summer, this can be reduced to £1. The neon colours work for all sorts of parties and occassions - even for day to day use, from neon crazy rave ... Read the complete review
When I took my children to the dentist he explained different ways to keep my children's teeth healthy. A year ago, I had a prolapsed lumber disk (eventually the required surgery) and I found myself unable to sit up for long periods of the day. In the time just before my surgery, I was having to lie flat for around 23 hours a day - and that makes drinking very difficult! I combatted this by using straws....which I know tend to be reserved ... Read the complete review
My teeth get a bit sensitive sometimes but it's with cold drinks not ice cream or chilled food. So most of the time that I have pop I use a straw because that stops the cold getting in where it hurts. I'm not bothered what straws I buy so I get these from Asda because they're the cheapest I've found! lol You get 100 neon ... Read the complete review
Recently I have begun using straws to drink fruit juices and fizzy drinks through. This is because I have realised I should start taking better care of my teeth, and one of the main things that all the dental hygiene websites recommend is to use straws. Fruit juices have acids in them that can erode the enamel on teeth, and fizzy drinks ... Read the complete review
