Advantages: vaguely okay smell
Disadvantages: doesnt really work
Just under thirty pence to make your room smell fresh? What a steal! Why pay for an expensive Oust or Neutradol when you can simply buy one of these, infact you could five or so for the same price. The difference is that this is Smart Price spray. In my experience, Smart Price roughly translates as 'cheaper and not very good.' I am sorry to say that this was the case with this air freshener.
No points are awarded for the bottle which is as bland as you like with a very basic colour scheme. The pump action spray works pretty well though so you can target desired smells and attempt to banish them. The onus is the word 'attempt' for this is all you will from this spray. It tries hard to attack those smells and falls someway short.
The smell it releases is fresh and clean and lingers in the air for a good few seconds before disappearing off down the ether and never returning. I would describe the smell as vaguely flowery with a clinical undertone. It is not a bad scent but it does not smell particularly natural and if you spray a lot then the smell seems to get worse.
Did it work on any smells. Well I tried it near the litter trays, where one particularly stinky cat resides for most of the day. It covered the smell inititally then wafted away leaving the smell intact. Not impressed. I also tried it in bathrooms and even the car, which smelt stale and wet and had similar results. While I admire the very reasonable price tag, I don't think this has the power of the likes of Oust to shift odours. It barely even covers them, making this spray a rather limp purchase, sorry Asda but not one of the better products!
Summary: not that impressive
