“ Brand: Asda / Type: Napkins „
I rarely shop in Asda as it is just too far to drive to make any savings worthwhile. However before Christmas I was offered a lift by a friend who wanted to look for a certain item of Asda china. I always enjoy shopping so agreed to keep her company! I usually shop in either Tesco or Waitrose so I browse around a supermarket selling different items was appealing to me. I ended up spending far more than I had intended and one of the little extras I bought was a pack of spotty napkins. I have a thing about spotty tableware and have mugs and plates in a similar design so thought these napkins would look bright and cheerful on my table. I also had a birthday party on the horizon so knew I would be needing paper napkins for my guests and also to wrap up a piece of birthday cake for taking home. The napkins come in a pack of 20 and are 2-ply. They are wrapped in thin cellophane. I really love the cheerful spotty design that features bright colours including red, yellow, orange and blue. The spots are randomly placed making the napkins look very funky. The bright white background gives the napkins a clean look. I paid £1 for this pack and think that is a very fair price. Each napkin is fairly thick and they don't tear easily. They are a decent size too measuring 33 x 33 cm each;big enough to wrap a slice of birthday cake for each guest to take home with them. I would certainly buy these napkins again if only for that funky, colourful design!
Introduction: I do not really care about how or what the napkins actually look like. All I need is a cheap product that is suitable for every day use. However, when seeing this product on asda's shelves I could not resist the cool looking design on these napkins. The price: The napkins cost £1. Very classical price for napkins. But they are 2-ply so you do get a good amount of tissue. Tesco and Sainsburys have pretty much the same price for very similar products, so you are not saving a fortune by buying these from sainsburys or asda. The quality: These napkins are not special in any way what so ever, they offer simplicity and strength due to them being 2 ply. The quality of the colours are very good as the colours are very saturated and clear. The design: simple circles/dots in different and vibrant colours in a random pattern. The back ground is a very plain white. I really like the colours as the liven up dinners as they look amusing and funky. Would I recommend? The simple answer is YES. They add meaning to dinners and cost £1 which is a great price. If you want a cheap product for every day use then buy with your head held high. I really like these!!!1
Napkins are one of them products I just buy when I need them as they are always cheap enough. I'm not bothered where I buy them from really or what design they are like - whether plain white or with something on them.. but I have started buying napkins that have more designs on them over plain white ones if there is not much price difference, as they brighten up the table a bit. There napkins can be found in Asda for £1 which is a good price. There are 20 napkins in a pack and the pack states they are 33 x 33cm. They come packaged simply in a clear cellophane wrapper so you can see the design. The napkins basically have a multicoloured spotty design on them. There isn't really a pattern to them but it stands out well enough and I think it would be great for children's parties. In terms of quality of the napkin I can't say it's much different than any other napkins lol. They are basic, but do the job. The spotty design is clear, the colours are bold and not faded. The napkins are ideal to use on a dinner table so guests have easy access to them. I give the napkins 5 stars.. they were a pretty standard price and fine to use.. i'd have no problem purchasing them again. Thanks for reading :) (review may also be on ciao)
Last year we had our youngest daughter christened and we put the catering on ourselves, we had bought all white bowls, plates and cutlery and so to brighten it all up a little I bought these napkins. The napkins are available from Asda stores and they cost £1 for a packet, a packet holds 20 napkins, although you can get cheaper if you buy white napkins it wasn't what we wanted and I was happy that the price wasn't too expensive. The napkins come packaged in a see through plastic wrapper whi9ch needs to be ripped or cut to open and once open it doesn't really protect the napkins very well. It states on the front of the packet that you are getting 20 2-ply napkins and they are 33cm x 33cms. The napkins inside are mainly white in colour but then they have spots on them in green, red, yellow, orange, pink, light blue and dark blue. There is no pattern to the spots and the spots are not uniformed either, the spots are bright colours and I personally think they are really attractive and eye catching. I think these napkins are great they worked to brighten up the catering table which was what I wanted, the napkins were pretty strong too and we managed to serve the christening cake on them without any problems. These napkins are good quality, strong and a good price, certainly recommended.
