      Match the wrapping paper brilliantly

After buying some of Asda's santa wrapping paper for various different children I buy a present for, I had to go back and get some tags to go with it. One thing I forget to buy every year without fail is gift tags, argh! I went back to my local store and found some matching ones so bought those.

These santa gift tags are an Asda product so can only be purchased from Asda stores or online from their website and they currently cost £1.

I think it's nice to buy the matching gift tags to the wrapping paper as it sets the present off nicely, I know kids don't really care but I thought they look nice. These gift tags carry the same design as the one featured on the wrapping paper. They have a pale blue background with a cute looking Santa with the same pale colours carrying a present, on the wrapping paper it looks like he is giving the present to a reindeer but I guess there wasn't enough room for a reindeer on the tag. The tag also has merry Christmas printed on it and some snowflakes. I think the overall look of the tags is Christmassy and cute.

Included in the packaging is a bundle of strings and ten gift tags. I think the amount of gift tags is perfect as the wrapping paper is ten metres long, that's a gift tag per metre which is all you should need really. There is a hole punched in the top of the tag that is of a nice size so it is easy to thread the string through when you come to attach it to the present. I was a little surprised at the size of the tags, I wasn't expecting them to be so big. The tags approximately measure 7cm high and 5cm wide at the biggest points, this gives you plenty of room to write whatever you like. I found it easy to fit on the name of the child, merry Christmas and a happy new year, and our names on the bottom. I didn't have to worry about writing small so I could fit it all on which makes a welcome change.

At only 10p a tag, I think these definitely represent good value for money. They look cute, are big enough to write what you want on them and match the wrapping paper well.
