Bic Two Colours Pen -

Available in Poundland either in a separate pack of one or in a mixed pack of 5 pens. (The pack I bought had in a thick yellow highlighter, a red Biro, and black Biro in a 'burlesque' themed purple outer cover as well as two of these). According to the Bic website these are limited editions. I'm becoming a bit of a stationary fiend, and have been busily picking up some bargains - such as these recently.

The pen casing itself is a little wider than a 'standard' Bic pen, and is a nice rounded shape. The top half of the pen is white and has a clip, and two 'slides' which will push out / retract the required coloured pen. The writing end of the pen is a baby pink colour.

The inks in this pen are vibrant pink, and bright turquoise. Like the standard Bic biros they have a 'medium' tip and as such don't suffer from the scratchyness that can accompany the thin orange barreled pens that Bic make. The pens do suffer from a slight 'blobbing' issue when used. Although I find this to be the case with all biros, and it is easily remedied if you just scribble the excess ink off on a piece of scrap paper. As a student I have to admit that I love the funky colours, and while I am not office based I am relishing the fact that I can use them all the time. The writing action of the pen is smooth, and it is very comfortable to hold. I don't feel that I can get my 'best' handwriting from them however for nice writing I tend to use a fountain pen. Being in a class with doodlers they tend to be very popular.

I highly recommend these - (a woman in Poundland looked at me funny when I pointed them out as she went to purchase the single pack)... At 20 pence each these are a real bargain. 5*s from me...

Summary: The best pens ever and they cost from only 20 pence each...
