I'm not keen on decorating and when Dulux released the Paint Pod machine last year I have to admit I was very interested. I remember using a similar system as a kid with my dad when Dulux partnered up with Black & Decker back in 1997 when they released the Paint Mate. This was a compact back pack which used Dulux paint in a bag, ... Read the complete review

Our entire flat needed painting and lazy little me that can't be bothered with all the bending and paint pouring decided this was the best option for us. After all, we had 5 rooms and a hallway that needed painting and I could see my back hurting before I started. Was I impressed? Sure. The shop took it back without a single question as if it had ... We bought out Dulux paint pod earlier in the year with a B&Q voucher, ready to do some major decorating this Summer. Well, the time finally came for us to use the Paint Pod. The Paint Pod has to be used with Paint Pod paint, and their range of colours is quite poor - especially if you want something other than a variant of white! ... Read the complete review

Well i had such high hopes for this item! Having planned to do a large amount of redecorating this year because we were planning a family, i thought this product was going to be a total lifesaver! Bought it in B&Q in February as a birthday treat to myself, as it was on offer for £39.99 and picked up a VERY expensive tub of white ... Read the complete review

A fantastic idea on paper and, if it worked properly, perhaps it would revolutionise painting. An end to messy roller tray and paint spillages sounds pretty good. But like so many similar products before it the Dulux PaintPod promises a lot more than it delivers. The principle is that you fill the body of the device with the colour of ... It's my first time using it today and I may one of the unlucky few that can't use it due to a pump problem, thankfully after trial and error after it's finished its cleaning process I'll be able to use it. It does make things easy but when you hit a problem it can be horrible. Thankfully the manual you are provided with includes everything to use ... Read the complete review

This is something I looked into when it first came out as I like to repaint every year or so and generally do several rooms in one go. I liked the idea this does not make a mess as I am not fond of covering everywhere as no matter what I always manage to get paint somewhere - last year was gloss on the leather sofa, would not mention this but I ... I bought this compact paintpod roller system about 3 months ago, after watching all the adverts on tv. It was quite easy to put together but the instructions are forewarned, I bought 2 lots of paint at £29.99 which I think is expensive, but the machine cost half price in a B & Q Special and Im not the best painter in the world, infact diy is ... Tried the Paintpod today and all I can say is WOW!! what an absolute waste of time and money. Doesn't get anywhere near the edges so you need to spend more time cutting in than you would with a conventional roller. The switch that controls the paint flow has an uncanny knack of getting stuck and turning the roller into a somewhat unamusing paint fountain. The roller is also quite a lot heavier than a conventional one. I think the Dulux Paintpod could become the foot spa of the diy world! So to some up........save your money and stick to the tried and tested methods.

This product is fantastic, i am so into gadgets and when i saw this i just had to have one. I saw it in b&q for £69.99 and bought it with the paint pod. I originally wanted a sprayer i saw on the shopping channel for £49.99 but when i went i did not see the one i wanted. The reason i decided to buy one was because we had ... Read the complete review

At the end of last month I moved into my new house in Hertfordshire. As I am taking a few months out of the workforce, I am overseeing the ginormous amount of work that needs to be done and am personally handling the painting of just about every room in the house. With this in mind, my thoughtful husband suggested that a Dulux PaintPod roller ... Read the complete review
