A lovely Easter decoration which really brightened up my living room walls.

I know we're halfway through June, but today I am spending getting the final few Easter reviews up that I suggested a while ago - please bear with me as I simply must get them done now as the last thing we want is an overlap between Easter and Christmas reviews (only six months to go!).

The Easter Assortment Big Pack was bought by my daughter to use as decorations for the Easter party I held for my granddaughters' and other family members, I knew there would be children of all ages attending so I wanted something I could stick around my living room just to brighten the place up more than anything.

What you see in the photograph above is what you get in the pack, 30 assorted Easter silhouette designs in pretty pastel colours which are cut from a high quality thin card. I must admit I was a little unwhelmed when I first looked at them as all packaged together they certainly don't look worth the £6 my daughter paid for them, although after taking them out and looking at them properly I can say they are very pretty indeed and I knew they'd look wonderful for the party.

The designs are nice and simple, there were a few too many Easter Eggs and not enough bunnies or chicks for my liking but then I suppose most people will be looking for egg decorations for Easter parties and they can't keep everyone happy when it comes to pre-packaged selections such as this.

The decorations are much bigger than they appear to be from the photograph, the tallest is the pink bunny which stands around 12 inches high and the smaller eggs are roughly 5 inches - not the greetings card embellishment size they appear to be with no scale to the picture above (which is not Dooyoos fault by the way, this is the photograph which appears on www.sillyjokes.co.uk which is where my daughter purchased them from).

I do have a complaint about them, albeit a minor one. This is that none of the decorations have any adhesive to stick them around the room, easily solved with Blue Tack I know but for the price I had at least expected each one to have an adhesive pad attached to them. As I said, a minor inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless - especially as I had to go to the shop for Blue Tack which isn't as straight forward as it sounds at 4.30pm on a Sunday afternoon where every major shop and supermarket is closed!

All in all though I do think this pack is excellent and it really brightened up the walls ready for the Easter party. I could have saved the decorations for next year as the quality of the card is certainly high enough to cope with being taken on and off the wall a few times. I didn't however as the younger children fell in love with the bunnies and chicks so I ended up sharing them out and letting them crayon their own scribblings on the decorations - I actually framed my then 22 month old granddaughter's scribbled on chick (one of the bigger ones) as it looks so cute and will certainly be a nice reminder of the fun we had at the Easter party.

      Recommended despite the highish price.
