A lovely table confetti which will certainly brighten up your buffet table.

When I held an Easter party in April I decided to place an order on partybox.co.uk for some special Easter paper plates and dishes, while browsing I came across some table confetti shaped like Easter chicks so bought a couple of packets to brighten up the buffet table.

For £1.75 I received a small 14g bag of small gold and silver chicks, the individual chicks are much smaller than I had been imagining judging from the picture on the website (which is the same one as above) and are very tiny indeed. They look lovely, although perhaps Partybox should show them alongside another object to get an idea of the scale of the chicks as they were fine for my purposes but I can imagine someone buying them because they look great only to be disappointed by the size.

The confetti is metallic and looks more expensive than it actually was, each chick is well cut and none have any rough edges or blemishes. I love the sheen on the chicks as they sparkled nicely on the table when the sunlight touched them and made my buffet look rather posh!

The only downside to the chick confetti is that it won't be on the table for long if you have any small children at your party, as soon as the little ones saw the chicks they were grabbing fist fulls of the confetti so there wasn't very much left at the end of the evening!

I would imagine the confetti is reusable as the shiny finish means crumbs and spills will wipe straight off, and really what is the point in throwing it away if you can put it all back in the packet and use it again next year! Unfortunately mine were binned as by the time the kids' had finished they were all over the floor and it was just easier to vacuum them up than get on my hands and knees collecting them!

I was impressed with them though. I sprinkled the chicks on the buffet table before inviting my guests to eat and the honestly looked absolutely gorgeous, and really who cares what a mess the table is in AFTER the buffet as long as it looks fabulous BEFORE it?
