a lovely winter air freshener from Febreze

OK we are only in autumn and this Febreze is aimed at winter but for £2 I could not resist buying this can so I could be sure of getting it early for the seasonal period. It retails at £3 normally but luckily my local corner shop had these cheaper.

I have never been disappointed with Febreze products, especially their air freshening ones and I have to say this Cranberry and Frost one is another really nice addition. The can is eye-catching because of the colour and the snowflake design and it is 300ml which is a decent size and I have found that just a single squirt in each room is plenty because the fragrance is fairly strong although I have to point out that my place is small (or should I say *cosy*!) The smell of cranberries is quite evident and it is not overpowering although I am yet to detect the smell of frost! The overall scent is slightly fruity yet crisp and fresh and reminds me of Christmastime. It is not sweet or sickly and the fragrance lasts a good day or so.

The spray nozzle is easy to use and a gentle squeeze allows the mist to be dispensed fairly gently and with a degree of precision and there is no evidence of stickiness or residue on my furniture or windows which is something I have noticed when using cheaper aerosols.

There are the usual directions for use, cautions and tips for disposal of the can on the back of the can plus a website address (www.febreze.com) phone number and address. The information is pretty comprehensive and I am told that it is an EU product.

If you are looking for a winter scent which is not too strong, very pleasant, easy to dispense and that lasts well then I would recommend trying this Cranberry and Frost air freshener then this may well suit your home.

a festive air freshener spray from Febreze

        ~Febreze Cranberries and Frost~

This air freshener is part of the Air Effects range that Febreze offer and is a limited edition spray. In is normally available during the festive season but is still in shops at the moment.

This particular Febreze air freshener looks really good and is quite eyecatching. The aerosol can is a festive red colour and is adorned with snowflake illustrations. As with all Febreze aerosols, this can features a trigger spray.

Febreze claim that this air freshener will eliminate odours in your home rather than mask them and leave the a light, subtle scent behind.

        ~Price and Availability~

A 300ml can retails at around £3.00 and is available from WIlkinsons and Tesco at the moment.

        ~My Thoughts~

I love my home smelling fresh and clean. As well as ensuring that my home is fully cleaned, I also invest a lot of cash in scented bits and bobs for my house. The quickest way to freshen up a house is by using an aerosol air freshener. I sometimes buy other brands but favour Febreze as the scents are much more natural smelling in my opinion. I bought my 300ml can of Cranberries and Frost for £2.00 just before Christmas and have just about finished the can. It is good to see it still available in supermarkets despite it being February!

Febreze is quite an expensive air freshener at full price but in my opinion, very much worth the higher cost. I have rarely been disappointed by a Febreze spray and find the range of scents to be varied. I chose Cranberries and Frost as I absolutely love festive scented sprays and it was definitely a good choice. It was much nicer to use than a cheaper festive spray that I also bought around the same time.

The trigger spray works well and releases a fine mist of liquid into the middle of the room. The mist is very light and doesn't leave my laminate flooring damp or slippy. The effects of this air freshener are immediately evident and very nice indeed. It is a great spray to use simply to freshen a room or spraying before an unexpected visitor arrives. The strength of this spray isn't overpowering but it is fairly strong and noticeable.

In terms of scent, this is a very pleasant air freshener to use. I love my home to smell festive all year round but some may not appreciate this festive scent except in December (bah humbug!). The cranberry aroma is very fruity, sweet and quite tart. It is joined by a boost of freshness and this combination is uplifting and very natural smelling. The freshness also stops the cranberry scent from becoming too sickly sweet. It leaves my home smelling sweet and any homely odours (cooker, bathroom etc) are eliminated nicely. Visitors have commented that my home smells lovely after spraying this and many have took my recommendation on board and bought this spray for their own home.

        ~Conclusion~

As well as deliverying a fruity burst of scent, this air freshener also lasts quite well. We have quite a large, all on one level flat and I find that spraying a small amount into each room plentiful. The sweetness of the cranberry lingers for an hour or so but each room feels refreshed and smelling clean for much longer. As a result, I don't feel the need to spray this constantly. It is a long lasting spray and I definitely got a lot of spray for my £2.00.

I can highly recommend Febreze Cranberries and Frost. If you don't get a chance to buy it before they come off the shelves then invest in a few cans in the run up to Christmas this year.

        Thanks for looking :)
