“ Brand: Febreze / Product Type: Air Freshener „
Mist & Refresh is an air freshener product from the Febreze brand. Popular for their anti-odour fabric spray, Febreze have now moved on to create various other products including fabric softener and this range of air fresheners. The Mist & Refresh sprays are available in a selection of fragrances and available from most supermarkets. It costs around £3.00 for a 300ml bottle. I have this air freshener spray in the exotic sounding "Egyptian Mystique" fragrance. It comes in a dark brown patterned bottle and has a bit of a masculine look to it. Each one contains 300ml of product which is a good amount that will last for many uses. The bottle has a large plastic spray nozzle that is very easy to use, you only need to apply a little bit of pressure to spray the air freshener. Product description: "Eliminates odour and freshens. The mist eliminates everyday odours without masking them and leaves a light and subtle scent behind. Patented odour elimination technology. Non-flammable propellant." Directions for use: Hold can upright, pull trigger back and spray the air in a sweeping motion. What with the fluctuating weather and having several pets in my home, it can tend to get a bit stuffy by the time I get back from work and I really need a quick fix to make things more pleasant. A healthy spray of this really helps to refresh my rooms and has it smelling nicer in no time. If you just want to freshen up the area then a quick spray will suffice, but I like to have the scent linger behind for a while and perfume the air afterwards, so I do tend to spray very liberally and use quite a lot from room to room. Unlike the original Febreze products, the Mist & Refresh spray is designed to be used purely as an air freshener and is not meant for use on fabrics and soft furnishings. Once I've sprayed this air freshener around, my rooms instantly smell nicer and then I can get on with opening all the windows and waiting for some fresh air to circulate around. The way this air freshener is dispensed when you pull the spray trigger, is to create a fine mist of light droplets which spread throughout the air. It is very simple to use and you have a good level of control over how much air freshener is released. The scent of the Mist & Refresh sprays is very noticeable to start with and lasts for quite a few hours afterwards. It does not have any lasting effects however, as instead of "removing" odours in the way that it claims it seems to add a light perfume and mask any bad smells. It does help more when I have the windows open to let a little fresh air filter in as well. SCENT: Egyptian Mystique - Egypt. No need to wait centuries to master the art of fragrances - just give it a spray or two. Inspired by the sophisticated perfume heritage of the Ancient Egyptian culture. As for my opinion of the actual fragrance, I chose Egyptian Mystique because I have a love for Egypt and especially their ancient history. The scent that it gives off is of a high quality and really stands out against the usual scent ranges offered by most standard air fresheners. I was a little unsure of what to expect from Egyptian Mystique, but it turned out to be a lovely warm fragrance with a mainly woody scent and hints of spices. This is unusual and exotic and gives a calming atmosphere. I think that it feels very sophisticated and is more like a perfume or fragrance oil than an ordinary air freshener. I have used this air freshener spray over the past couple of months and found it to be effective and very pleasant to use. Febreze Mist & refresh is a reliable product that has a lovely range of scents and can be used throughout the whole house. I think it is great value for money and really comes across as having a unique scent thanks to a blend of fragrances that really give depth and warmth above what I would expect from a simple air freshener.
My bedroom isnt always the cleanest room in the house - and thats putting it mildy as sometimes it is a bit of a pig sty. But however messy it is I always pride myself on the fact that it smells gorgeous - thanks to the Yankee Candles I have burning most of the time but mostly due to the fact that Im never without a can of air freshner should any nasty odours strike - say if Ive eaten a kebab in there after a night out. I try out many brands of air freshner as Im not brand loyal - as long as Im attratced to the scent Ill try it out which is what happened with this 'Frebreze Egyptian Mystique Air Freshner'. I saw it on offer in Morrisons a few weeks back so I decided to pick up a can - which is odd because normally Frebreze would be a brand I stay away from - I HATE the smell of original Frebreze. But Im glad I gave this one a go because Ive been using it loads and it certainly does the job of making my room smell fresh and clean. Useful Information: Price: Around £2 - on offer as of this date - 12.04.2011 Stockists: According to MySupermarket this is currently only available in ASDA stores. Other Info: 300ml bottle which is also available in Thai Orchid & Caribbean Paradise scents - expect reviews on those scents to follow LOL. This air freshener comes in a light brown, 300ml can that is decorated all over with little flower images - it looks like an old time wallpaper which is very fitting with the egyptian design I rekon. At the top is a plastic lid - which cannot be removed - and underneath that is the trigger which you simply press in to release sprays of this scent. Even though it doesnt have a lid over the trigger I dont think that matters as I havent found that this sprays out randomly by itself or leaks out so the design is different but no less effective. On the front and back of the can is all the information you could need on this product - directions for use, cautions and an extra address to write to should you have any other questions or problems with the product. To use this is very simple as its no different from normal air freshners. You simply push the trigger back a few times to release a few sprays - thats more than enough to get enough of the scent in my opinion - and then let it settle into the air in your room. The spray comes out very lightly BUT a enough comes out each time so only a few sprays is more than enough to fill the whole room with fragrance - using too much would make the smell too overpowering for me personally and you dont need loads to get maximum results from this. Ive been using this LOADS for about a month now and a quick shake of the can tells me there is barely anything gone from it so use a small amount and you will get brilliant results and a long lasting air freshener. Now Im not sure what 'egyptian cottons & perfumes' are supposed to smell like but this does smell gorgeous. Its a very floral scent with hints of spiciness and and woods - which is how I imagine old-time egyptian perfumes smelling so this one hits the nail on the head scent wise for me. I wouldnt say the smell is the nicest ever - and not the nicest from this range either - but its better than dog odour or stale kebab and its quite pleasant either way. The scent is pleasant enough for me to use all the time, strong enough to cover and get rid of an bad odour in any room of the house - but not strong enough to make my nose feel funny & it lasts a really long time in the air and on any fabrics it comes into contact with so overall Im very happy with this one. I definitely recommend this - especially while its on offer - as it does what it promises and smells pretty great. Its not quite my favourite from this Frebreze range but its definitely worth the money and prevents any bad odours in my bedroom for good! Thanks For Reading. x0 Salz 0x
