Febreze Mist & Refresh

Febreze Mist & Refresh
Advantages: Pleasant and natural smelling, looks discreet in bathroom
Disadvantages: Smell might be overpowering for sensitive nostrils, quite pricey
Febreze costs more than I would usually spend on an air freshener, but when I saw them on offer in Tesco I thought I'd stock up. The offer was 2 for £4, and at full price they were about £3 each. I use air fresheners in the usual places, bathroom, kitchen and also in the utility where my cat's litter tray is kept. I need something that not only masks the smells but also gets rid of them, and this is what Febreze claim to do. I chose the Blossom fragrance because the flowers on the aerosol picture made me think that it would probably smell flowery and fresh.
I like the trigger spray for the Febreze aerosols, it's nicer than pressing down a bulky button on top of the can. You just hold it in for as long as you need. It also looks quite discreet on the bathroom shelf, which is nicer than a clinical looking tin screaming "AIR FRESHENER" at you. The can is white with blue writing, and pictures representing the fragrance, so in this case the picture was of pink flowers (blossoms I presume!).
The smell of this air freshener is quite strong, and I found it a little overpowering at first. In comparison to most air fresheners though it's very natural smelling and doesn't smell like it's trying to mask odours like some air fresheners can. A lot of air fresheners are quite chemical-ly smelling (I know that's not a word but I can't think how else to describe it!) and smell clinical and quite unpleasant. Febreze is pleasant smelling, and it does spread a light mist (as its name suggests) around the room which you can see as you press the trigger down.
The smell of Febreze could be a little overpowering for some, but in general it's a very pleasant air freshener and one I will continue to use as long as I can find it on offer.
Summary: Worth the price if you have lots of pesky smells to get rid of
