Advantages: Eliminated odours

Disadvantages: Not impressive, no lasting smell

We have a bottle of Febreze Mist and Fresh under our kitchen sink and it has been used a few times but we are not impressed with the results it delivers to be frank. Being Febreze we were hoping and expecting for better results but it has proved to be an expensive disappointment.

The long aluminium can containing 300ml cost around £1.50 so it wasn't cheap.

Instructions tell you to spray on the fabric with the trigger release spray and it does deliever a nice fine mist to the fabric I find. Once initally sprayed the smell is very strong but it very quickly fades away but the advantage is that it it does eliminate the nasty and unpleasant smells really quickly so I suppose that is good.

The smell is quite floral and fresh but not sickly sweet as these sometimes are. We have used this on our curtains, sofas, chairs and bedding and it is impressive how quickly it will get rid of cigarette smells and smelly feet pongs, but unfortunately I cannot say that the fresh floral smell lasts for very long at all, so this is disappointing, especially as I had high expectations and it wasn't cheap either.

I think a plug in air freshener would probably work just as well if not better, and it would also be considerably cheaper than this product.

Not really something I woud recommend.
