Febreze mist and refresh
I like to have these kind of odour buster products in the house, because I like the smell of recently sprayed rooms. There are several smells available but the one I favour at the moment is cotton fresh.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
This promises to have patented odour eliminating technology so that you can enjoy true freshness.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The product comes in a 300ml tin with all of the information and instructions on the back and front of the can.the front of the can has a picture of cotton plants which didn't surprise me, but does give an indication of what the smell is all about. The product is dispensed via a trigger spray mechanism. The handle of it is at the side slightly further up than I would carry the bottle which makes it easy to use and doesn't take a lot of pressure to get the spray out of the can; a slight pressure is enough to get the product out of the can.
The product itself is dispensed as a fine mist which seems to spray not just in front of the can but also slightly to the sides as well so more area is covered. It does smell very fresh and clean although I'm not sure it smells of cotton (what does cotton smell like?).
USING THE PRODUCT...
To use it simply press the trigger spray and spray into the air in a sweeping motion. This does dispense the product nice and evenly right to the bottom of the can. I have found that even if it falls onto the carpet and soft furnishings, it doesn't stain and because the mist is so fine, it doesn't make things overly wet.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
They usually cost around £3 a can but are frequently on special offer- at the moment asda seem to have them for £3 for 2, so quite a bargain. They are available in several scents at supermarkets and many smaller shops.
This for me is a handy product to have in the house and I tend to use it daily before I leave the house in the morning which means that the house smells nice and fresh when I walk in after work. I don't know that it eliminates odours as there aren't too many odours (I don't think) because there is no smoking etc in the house. However, if after cooking, I spray this, then there are fewer smells but this could be masking. It is easy to use, a lot goes a long way and it lasts for ages.
Whatever it does, it does work for me and I would recommend it.
