Advantages: Smells nice, lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Pricey
I use air freshener every day as part of my housework routine, after cleaning a room I spray it to try and get rid of the chemical smell you can get give some products and to leave the room smelling clean and fresh. I'm currently using Febreeze.
Febreeze mist and refresh is available in a few differerent scents including morning dew, cotton fresh and blossom and breeze. I have the mist and refresh in blossom and breeze so my review is going to be about this one. It is quite widely available to purchase for around £3 for a 300ml can, but can often be found cheaper on special offers.
The packaging fits in with the Febreeze range being cylinder in shape and having a pull trigger type nozzle at the top. The design is quite nice with a neutral background and a picture of some blossoms, the top of the nozzle is pink in colour which represents the scent, the other scents in the range have different coloured tops. The trigger is easy to pull and once pulled it will continue to emit the air freshener until you take your finger off, or it automatically stops after a few seconds. Although the trigger isn't very long, I still find it comfortable to hold.
The mist and refresh name shows that the consistency of the air freshener is misty. When it is sprayed from the nozzle it does have a wet feeling to the mist, however this soon disappears and if it lands on any surfaces it disappears instantly. I tend to spray away from me as I'm leaving the room as it doesn't feel that pleasant if you walk through a cloud of it. The fragrance is what you would expect from the name, it is floral with a sweet twist to it. After spraying the air freshener around the home I find that it lasts quite long, the fragrance is full and powerful for around three quarters of an hour then growing more subtle and finally disappearing after an hour.
The mist and refresh air freshener does have something extra compared to normal air fresheners, it's hard to put my finger on it. I think the wetness of the actually spray makes it more apparent when you enter each room that it has been freshened up, it makes it stronger than others in my opinion.
Although it's quite pricey, the Febreeze mist and refresh is worth every penny. I find one can of this lasts me a few months despite using it almost daily. The scent is lovely, and it lasts a long time once sprayed. I'd definitely recommend it.
Summary: Lovely air freshener from Febreeze
