Advantages: Stronger fragrance, eliminated odours
Disadvantages: Quite a bold fragrance so you may not like it yourself
We have been using this range of air freshener for a couple of years now. This has probably given away that we quite like it. In particular, the aerosol action of this product is far gentler than traditional aerosols which make the loud spraying noise. This makes it far less scary to our cat who will sprint out of the room if we spray one of the other noisy ones.
We mainly buy the "Cotton Fresh" fragrance in this range as, just like its name suggests, it has the freshest fragrance and smells pretty neutral so to avoid being overpowering or too noticeable however, we have also bought this fragrance from time to time - I cannot say that this is my favourite as it isn't, however I do still like it and do like to have a change of fragrance now and again.
The actual reason we chose to try this out int he first place was that the bright pink packaging really catches your eye as you walk past it in the shop - it really makes the air freshener stand out amongst all other air fresheners nearby!
It also makes the bottle easier to find in the cupboard when it is quite dark at times.
Many of the other fragrances in this range are very subtle, especially the one we usually buy "Cotton Fresh", however this one is quite a bit stronger than the others. It has a much more exotic twist to it which is quite different to many different fragrances on the market, I have never smelt one quite like it before.
i actually ran a little test with this air freshener last week. I usually have the cotton fresh fragrance in the home but I decided to, for the week, switch to the thai orchid and see if anybody noticed as they came into the house. We had four visitors to the house this week and all but one of them either didn't notice any difference or just didn't want to mention it. However the one that did speak up commented that they did like it. Although that wasn't much of a consumer review from them, it actually shows that the fragrance does have an impact on the house.
This air fresheners acts to both fragrance the air and to eliminate any odours which were present beforehand. I can spray it into a rather smelly room and immediately all I can smell is the Febreze fragrance, this one in particular seems to last a little longer than some of the other ones in the range possibly because of having a stronger smell. After you would usually expect to smell the smelly room again - most of the time you cannot (or at least not as bad) therefore suggesting that it does actually eliminate odours from fabrics. No one in the house smokes so I personally have no idea how well it works with smoke smells but I have heard positive things about it in regards to this.
*Note: parts of this review have been adapted from my general review of this product range but adapted for this particular fragrance*
Summary: If you really want to change the odours of your home, buy this air freshener
