“ Brand: Glade / Product Type: Air Freshener „
I love keeping my house clean and smelling fresh and I always like to try different scented products. One product I use regularly is Glade's Relaxing Zen aerosol spray. For some reason they don't stock the spray in my local Sainsbury's so I usually pick it up from Tesco. The product and packaging. The product comes in the format of a white 300ml metal can with a white plastic lid top. The brand name 'glade' is displayed on the front in fancy blue lettering and underneath it tells you that the fragrance is' Relaxing Zen.' On the bottom half of the can it has a picture of some pink flowers and some pebbles with sand in the background. This ties is perfectly with the fragrance as it is a very peaceful and calm image. Directly above the picture it tells you that it gives instant and long lasting freshness and at the bottom is the 'Johnson' company logo (they own the brand Glade) On the back of the can it gives directions of use, the size (300ml) and warnings. (Not recommended for use on fabric and that it is very flammable.) Directions of use. Shake the can well before use and point towards the centre of the room and spray. There is no actual lid cover, you just need to press down on the trigger on top of the lid with your finger to release the spray. Availability and price. It is widely available both in store and on line. Tesco currently have it priced at £1.23 (300ml can) It is also available as a scented candle, solid gel freshener and touch n' fresh spray. My experience and verdict. I love this fragrance. It freshens the whole of my room well and the fragrance really lasts. It is a lovely floral scent that is not too heavy. I would definitely recommend this product.
Introduction about Glade Relaxing Zen Air Freshener My favourite brand of air freshener has always been Glade Relaxing Zen. The fragrance is very very long lasting and provide instant freshness to the surrounding areas. I often spray this in the front room after I have finished vacuuming. About Glade Relaxing Zen Air Freshener The spray is contained in a can which is cream yellow in colour. The nozzle is also of good quality and disperses the spray very well as I have found that with some other brands, the nozzle tends to get faulty half way through the can. To use the spray, you have to shake the can well and you have to spray it in the centre of the room. Conclusion about Glade Relaxing Zen Air Freshener Glade Relaxing Zen is manufactured by SC Johnson in Camberley. A 300ml can is currently on offer for £1.20 at Asda and £1.23 at Tesco and Sainsbury's. The Glade Relaxing Zen Scent is also available in other more expensive forms such as the candle form for £2 at Tesco and £4 at Ocado, and it is also available as a solid gel freshener and as scented oil. I think the air freshener is good value for money and a little bit of Glade Relaxing Zen goes a long long way! I have also posted this review on ciao under my same username Angela150.
With being a smoker and owning four lovely hamsters and recently acquiring a lovely little kitten and then my mate coming around often with Daisy dog I can't help but my flat not smelling as fresh as possible no matter how I try. I do open my windows and clean very often of course and try to keep up with things however on top of the things I've mentioned I have a love of spicy foods and fish! Due to this I rely alot on plug in's and air fresheners usually but do like a can of something nice to give me instant freshness in my flat and recently I spotted this on offer in my local Asda store for a pound a can which knowing that it usually retails at about £2.00 a can I snapped up as I liked the idea of a fragrance called relaxing zen lol! The Packaging: The can of this is aerosol style and comes in a white coloured can with a picture of pink flowers on the front of it and we are told that it is Glade Relaxing Zen 'Instant freshness, long lasting fragrance' and that it is a Johnson's product then on the back of the can other information listed includes being told a bit about how to use the product and lots and lots of warnings are given, the size is stated which is 300ml and the only size I have seen this available to purchase in by the way and contact details for the manufacturer are given./There is a a deep push button that works really well every time to the top of it and like I said earlier this gives an aerosol action. The Air Freshener Itself: All you do with this is spray it of course into the air. I find that I don't need very much of this at all to give me a really light fragrance of pretty and natural florals. Nothing scent wise stands out with this really its just a very nice light and natural aroma as I have just stated. What I appreciate about this the most is that not only is the fragrance really nice and very relaxing as promised but it isn't a wet product and is just a fine mist that goes into the air. The fragrance of this doesn't last above half an hour in any of my rooms but it is a nice one to spray when entering into a room to a freshen it up and so on and if my door knocks and visitors have arrived I always grab it to give my rooms an instant, clean and fresh feeling. I really do like this one and as I don't need much of it to give my room a nice pleasant fragrance it works out to be a rather economical product even at full price. Available in all good supermarkets and so on and if not on offer expect to pay around the two pound mark for it! This review is also posted on Ciao under this same username.
Glade is a home fragrancing brand under the SC Johnson company. They offer various candles, sprays and plug ins for dotting around the house and keeping it fresh smelling. *Relaxing Zen* The Relaxing Zen scent from Glade, is infused into 4 products including a candle, solid air freshener, plug in refill and also an aerosol for spraying around your home. The aerosol claims to offer instant fragrancing to the room you spray it in whilst lasting quite a long time. The actual scent is a blend of soft fruits and white flowers. *Design* A tall, metal can holds the spray. It has an integrated, push down spray which releases the fragrance into the air. The can has a design of flowers and pebbles aiming to create a "zen garden" type feel. All the relevant information about the contents and how to use the spray is on the back. *Availability and Price* This aerosol is available in many supermarkets and is priced around £1.30 but can be found on offer at £1.00 for a 300ml can. There are many other scents available. *My Thoughts* Whilst I believe there is no substitute for a clean, hygenic home, I do have many candles and plug ins dotted around my home. I also keep 1 or 2 cans of air freshener spray in my bathroom/hiding behind the curtain in livingroom. I usually have a pre-warning of a visitor either by text or my buzzer being pressed and quickly grab a can to spritz around the rooms and provide an instant boost of scent to the rooms. I have used many air fresheners since moving into my own home and from various brands. I quite like the Glade air fresheners as they offer slightly more enticing (as far as air freshener scents go) scents. I bought this Relaxing Zen one from Tesco or Asda a few weeks ago and as always, rarely pay more than £1.00 for a spray except for Febreze that is. I suppose the pretty design attracted me as the title gives no indication of the scent. *Oooohhh The House Smells Lovely* I would say this spray is most suited to hallways, livingrooms and bedrooms. If you think you can cover up hubbys "toilet stinkout" then go for something different! The spray is easily released from the can with short bursts and is quite fine yet adequate when spritzed into the centre of a room. It doesn't settle damp on my wooden flooring and seems to linger in the air as opposed to dropping down to the floor. This is quite a pleasant scent and does live up to its "relaxing" name. It is soft but not too subtle..you can certainly detect it lingering in the air. It is quite a strong scent at first settling to a gentle, light scent which just keeps the rooms smelling fresh. It is mostly floral but not heavy and not one that could be cloying so perfect for hotter weather when you have the windows open and just want some scent. There is a hint of delicate sweetness about it which makes it smell even more gorgeous. It is noticeable to others who walk in my home more than myself who sprays it regularly. My Mum in Law doesn't smell things well but can smell it as she walks in the front door and commented it makes the place fresh but created a chilled out environment at the same time which is what I like. It doesn't last all that long though which I found disappointing but not surprising as generally, I don't find air fresheners last that long anyway but enough time for my guests to arrive and leave! *Conclusion* I recommend this air freshener as one for spraying before guests arrive as its nice and light. Its cheap enough to have handy and freshens up my home nicely. The cans pretty too! Its not my favourite in the range but a lovely change as it creates a different aroma for my home. Spraying a few times a day gives me a good few weeks usage out of one can which is acceptable especially considering the quality. Thanks for reading :)
