... the base, making this a comfortable hold hand wise, though is considerably heavier than smaller rollers I have had in the past, meaning that my wrists rather than my hands did feel the pressure the day after, and towards the end of the job, I did end up rollering with two hands.
The extension itself is sturdy, and not once did I feel the roller was loose or unstable, though my problem was more with the locking device.

After finally concluding that I had to bite the bullet and re-decorate my bedroom, my hubby (who has graciously declined to help, and feeling guilty for that fact!), took me to Focus to buy everything I would need for such a task, paint, new brushes and due to the fact I am technically a pygmy (well, I would be compared to my 6ft 4" husband!), he also purchased an extendable roller brush to save me having to clamour about on the step ladder, I am not good with heights....even small one's!
