Cleaning is something that I don't mind doing as I like things to be in it's place and try to keep on top of things. This means that there's no need to spend the whole of my weekends cleaning, leaving me to do the things that I want when I'm not in work. There is one task however that I hate and that is ironing. For some it is therapeutic, or something to do when watching TV, but for me it is the one job that I find a chore and I hate it so much I even prefer cleaning the oven to ironing! My ironing board is years old and I have never changed the cover. I didn't realise how thin the cover had become until I took the old cover off and thought that this had ... Read the complete review

The ironing board cover comes in a plastic bag with all the information on the front of the bag. There are a number of designs, but i chose the sones design, which is a background of grey stones with some large what look like gebera flowers ... Read the complete review

I really like the JML Fast Fit Ironing Board cover. I purchased mine from my local branch of Woolworth's for £4.99 although I have seen them in Sainsbury's Homebase and some supermarkets. Having struggled with conventional ironing board covers which I can never seem to get to a smooth crease-free fit, the JML Fast Fit cover is a revelation and so simple to fit. All you have to do is remove it from its packaging, stretch it open and place it on your ironing board - it is easier to fit if you start off at the narrow end of the board; place it on the board with the gathers under the edge of the board and pull it straight to the wider end then over that edge ...
