A nice gift for a young lass!

I would never refer to myself as a girly girl. I avoid pink like the plaque. I mean I'm 36 years of age after all but for my birthday a friend, as a bit of a joke bought me this. Living by the sea it sure does get cold here and I am a one for blankets and things like that and feel the cold very badly.

I was surprised to open this up and I mean it being pink was certainly not a great start but being embroidered with the word princess on made me feel five years old however it felt soft, is machine washable and has actually come in very handy indeed over the past few months to be fair to it lol!

      The Fleece Blanket Itself:

This particular blanket only comes in one colour which is a nice light sort of shell pink, it is made totally from polyester and measures 120x150cm so is quite a large size and a sort of an oblongish shape. Although I'm not a huge fan of pink colours this is a nice subtle shade and feels very soft and warm as it is made like fleece and feels slightly fluffy.

It is trimmed to the edges with black obviously to finish it off and keep it in good nick and then to the top right hand corner of it in white embroidery the word Princess is adorned quite fancily on there.

The appearance of it is nice and its well finished enough. The blanket could do with being a bit thicker for practical reasons but I use mine draped over my neck or legs to give me a bit of warmth and it washes up great with no shrinkage or problems at all and even keeps its bouncy fleecy feeling and what's more it doesn't malt like a couple of others that I own!

This is usually sold by K & Co for £19.00 which is what my mate paid but at the moment it is on offer for £15.20. I personally think that is slightly a little too pricey for what it is but at least it does a job and stays smart no matter how often you wash it!
