Advantages: Serve my purpose well, look nice, are easy to clean
Disadvantages: Not all that strong and you do have to treat them nicely!
I am currently slap bang in the middle of moving flats and as you can imagine trying to sort all the stuff out that I like other people accumulate has become a bit of a pain in the neck. When I moved into this flat I was so unorganised it was unreal and right mess but this time I am determined to not only chuck as much as possible with the plan being keep it if I love it/use it but I am constantly buying various boxes to try help organise me.
At the minute I am trying to clear my bedroom and theres loads in there I want to keep so for the time being I have bought a few storage boxes. Now the ones I have are nothing like the ones on the photograph at the top of this page though the description and the name of them is correct and I bought three of these to pop under my bed for the time being with the plan that I can shove them in a van I am hiring as they are and they cost me just a fiver each (Google if interested).
The Boxes:
Like the other reviewer on here mentioned these do not come in any kind of packaging mine just had sticky labels on that peeled off telling me what they are and the capacity that they can hold and so on.
To look at the boxes I have are very simple. The base is frosted white plastic and box shaped but you can still see through it, the wheels on mine are a dark red shade and this was the only colour option I had to choose from at the time but I understand they come in a variety of colour options and the lid is dark red and it simply snaps on and off and is folding so you can lift one side up at a time if you want to or remove the whole thing. It looks nice and you can if you want to stack these though not too many I would think as these are not all that strong!
The pros with this are that the wheels are great its easy to pull these from under my bed and shove them back again easily. The lids are great too being able to open a section at a time or take the whole thing off and I like being able to peer through the plastic to see whats in each box although I have personally took the time to label mine. There is plenty of room in them as well and I can shove plenty in each however the con is that these are not badly made but that they are not that sturdy and strong so I find that I'm best off using these for lightweight items such as bedding and clothes and stuff like that in the main.
Saying that though they serve their purpose well in my home though how they will fair in a van... well I'm not so sure but to be fair they are only marketed as under bed storage boxes and they do that very well for me, are wipe clean and look rather nice to.
For a fiver each I got a bargain and will when I see some more of them buy some more to shove on top of my wardrobe and label them too so all in all they are a product I would recommend and do appreciate!
Summary: A good buy for me!
