      A handy household product

Kiwi Sports Whitener is a simple yet handy product to have around the home which can allow you to spruce up a range of white toned shoes and give them a new lease of life. The Kiwi Sports Whitener is easy to use and store and not too pricey to buy, so its worth looking out for.

It can retail for between £2 to £3 in some stores so it is best to shop around for deals and offers if you can. Some of the larger stores like Tesco or Sainsburys sell this for £2 which is what we normally pay for a bottle of the product. Each applicator bottle contains 75mls of the whitener product, which is enough for a good number of applications.

Whilst it may seem old fashioned by some to be whitening your old trainers etc, I feel its just as nice to take a bit of pride in them, as much as it is with smarter shoes. As the Kiwi Sports Whitener can be used on leather it can not only transform your sports shoes, but it can also enhance smart leather heels or shoes if used sparingly with an even coating of the product.

Kiwi Sports Whitener can be used on canvass which is what we used to do with white plimsoles in the past to keep them looking scuff free. It can also be used on vinyl too, which is very handy as not all trainer type shoes are leather. The product is easy to use as there is a foam applicator at the top of the small plastic bottle and a light squeeze of that will ensure you get enough of the whitener on the sponge.

I find its best to shake the product well prior to using, so that the mix and consistency of the whitener is at its best. My only real issue with this is that I find the newer style lids fiddly to put on and take off. Other than that the applicator works well, as long as you don't press down too hard on the sponge tip as it can become detached from the main body of the product by doing that.

When using this you do need to factor in a short drying off period for your shoes, trainers, sandals etc. Its doesn't take long to dry on leather or vinyl, but is you have soaked canvass shoes with too much of the product the drying time will be rather extended. Other than that the product performs well and so I would recommend it. Over all Kiwi Sports Whitener gets 4 stars.
