      Advantages

      Disadvantages

If buying inform customers to keep in metal container Do not drop keep away fron heat

These matches should have a warning on the box THESE MATCHES ARE NOT SAFETY MATCHES.
After purchasing mine from Tesco's for mainly lighting candles I placed them into the cupboard ready for using
when needed. My wife used from one box approx 12 matches to light birthday candles and then replaced the box back into the cupboard. The next day whilst removing a item from the cupboard she accidently knocked the box of matches from the shelf, the box fell 43cms onto a wooden flooring which then exploded, into a what I can only describe as a blow torch of flames, from both sides of the box.The flames extended approx 6 cms from both sides of the box. As I was only a few feet away I threw a tea towel over the box which blackened the kitchen cupboard and nearly burnt my wifes ankle as my wife is partialy sighted it was a very frighting experience. The remaining boxes I now keep in a metal box when these are spent I would prefer to purchase safety matches.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      -

I am somebody who always lights candles and so if there is one thing I always need to have in my house, it is matches. I do not really bother about brands with matches, I do know what brands are a bit pricier but in all honesty as long as it does the job, I am fine. I was in Tesco as I was looking for matches and came across this brand that was a little bit cheaper but seemed good value for money. It wasn't just paying for one box of matches but three. I don't use them daily but to have them in stock is always handy to save me having to keep buying them.

      PACKAGING

The box is pretty average for matches; it comes in a dark blue rectangle box with a flame design and then has simple white text stating that this is a box of kitchen matches and has the discount brands logo in the corner. The box slides out easily holding a very high amount of matches, it says approximately 240 which is really good when you think about it as buying a pack of 3 pretty much makes it 720 matches for your money which will last for years!

      THE MATCHES

With these matches, being a discount brand, I really wasn't sure if these were going to be a high quality or not. However, they don't seem to be too disappointing really, the side of the box where you light the match seemed to be smoother than normal so I wasn't sure if they'd light ok. The matches did seem to light very quickly though, very easy and none of this striking five times until I get a flame business, it was literally once and the flame appeared.

Like all matches they do burn quickly so light the flame and then blow out the match. The matches are very strong and none of them are snapped or cheap. The matches are just the right length and very easy to hold while you strike the match away from yourself to follow the safety guidelines of the box. The matches are very straightforward but I do know if using these for cooking some people might want a longer match.

I think in terms of comparing these to other matches that are well known brands, I am overall very pleased with them. There are more in a box than normal as usually there are not a lot but with these it is hard to close the box because it is so full of matches. Also, I found that the quality of flame was a long lasting flame to ignite everything I needed to and then the match blew out very easily and was safe enough to throw in the bin.

Matches are not a topic where there is really a lot to say without boring everyone to death, I think most of the points needed to know have been covered. I think if you want to save yourself a bit of money on something like this and make sure you are stocked up for a good while then definitely invest in these KTwo matches. The 3 boxes are all the same size and they are good to have in the home just for candles or anything you may need them for.

      COST

If you want to buy these then I have only seen them come in the pack of 3 from Tesco which costs 91p. I know Swan a well known match brand sell a box for a bit less but with KTwo you are getting three times that amount and I really do think you are paying for a name whereas these do exactly the same job and really are worth buying.
