These matches should have a warning on the box THESE MATCHES ARE NOT SAFETY MATCHES. After purchasing mine from Tesco's for mainly lighting candles I placed them into the cupboard ready for using when needed. My wife used from one box approx 12 matches to light birthday candles and then replaced the box back into the cupboard. I am somebody who always lights candles and so if there is one thing I always need to have in my house, it is matches. I do not really bother about brands with matches, I do know what brands are a bit pricier but in all honesty as long as it does the job, I am fine. I was in Tesco as I was looking for matches and came across this brand that was a little bit cheaper but seemed good value for money. It wasn't just paying for one box of matches but three. I don't use them daily but to have them in stock is always handy to save me having to keep buying them.
