Live Laugh Love Two Heart Photo Frame
I am really not sure why but this Christmas I seemed to get an influx of various photo frames from different people. I suppose that it was because of the new addition to our family people know that there are going to be a lot more photos being taken so I guess a lot more frames are needed. However I can't say I minded that much as all the frames I did get were really really nice and in keeping with my style.
This particular frame was the favourite one I received as I really love the shabby chic style of the "Live, Laugh, Love" range. Mum obviously has great taste and knows what will fit we'll in my front room. I don't know exactly how much she paid for it but I have had a look online and it seems to be retailing for around the £5 price bracket which I think exceptional value for money.
The frame itself is a wooden one with a slightly distressed white washed look to it and added on to the frame are two white wooden carved hearts which are attached to the frame by some weathered looking string. The dimensions of the overall frame are H14.5cm W14.5cm. The photo needs to be a size of 3x3 inch of which of purse I had no photos but it was easy enough to cut down a photo to the correct size, remove the back plate to insert the photo andy see the stand to position the frame in the spot I wanted.
Not only does the frame look good and stand well but in my opinion it it pretty cheap too and it looks like it would have cost more. I like the shabby chic style and this is in keeping with this. The only slight downside is that when I was cleaning the glass front of the frame I got a few of my dusters hairs stuck on the wooden finish of the frame so its not the easiest of frames to keep dust free
I still think this is a fantastic item and so for that reason I am more than happy-to award a top score of five out of five stars.
I do hope that this has been of some help or interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
As I have mentioned in a previous review, I stumbled across the website Live Laugh Love when I was googling for items to buy when I bought my house. Live Laugh Love sells items for the home such as photo frames, candle holders, cushions and doorstops, and all have a shabby chic/shaker look. I really like that look and so I was spoilt for choice when trying to decide which photo frame to buy for my favourite photo - it's a photo of a golden retriever my Uncle used to have. He is sadly passed away now, and the photo is of him as a puppy. I treasure it daily and have always had it in a frame.
THE PHOTO FRAME
This photo frame is square and made of wood - unfortunately I do not know what type but it is quite a hard wood and is fairly pale-ish in colour. On the right hand side of the frame is two white wooden hearts which are attached by a short piece of thin rope/twine. It looks very rustic and the hearts were what convinced me to buy this frame as I thought it looked very cute.
The frame measures 14.5cm by 14.5cm. The back of it is secured by 4 metal clips which can easily be moved so that you can put your photo inside.
This frame looks very homely, natural and rustic, and it looks perfect on my mantelpiece.
This fits photographs of 3x3 inches, which is a size slightly smaller than a regular polaroid. Therefore unfortunately you will probably need to cut photographs up or resize them in order to get them to fit this frame. It will also have to probably be quite a simple picture that you place inside because of the small size. Luckily the photo I had to put into it was already trimmed down to size and it looks perfect in this frame.
This costs £4.95 which I think is a very good price for this frame. It's a bit different from your average photo frame, and I expected it to be a lot more expensive when I first spotted it online. For less than a fiver you can have a photo frame in your home that you are not likely to see anyone else having, and it's certainly cheap enough if you fancy buying more than one.
WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
I do like to have this frame as a bit of a one-off in my living room, but I would definitely buy this again if I wanted one for another room. It would also make a really lovely gift for someone, and I think this frame would appeal to young and old people alike.
