“ Brand: Lyra / Type: Bean bag „
I have a three seater lazyboy sofa in my living room and an armchair. I always thought this would be enough seating for me and my flatmate and for the majority of the time it is in our cosy living room however occasionally we have 4-5 people come round and seating can be a small problem. I don't have room for any more solid peices of furniture its that simple. I did think about folding chairs that could live in the cupboard till people came round however one night I was on the Kay&Co website (www.kay&co.com) and spotted an assortment of beanbags in different styles and colours and in the end I opted to have one sent to take a look at as items delivered from Kay&Co are delivered and can be returned for free which means I had nothing to loose.
These are available in two sizes and that is small and large and at the moment the large one is on sale for £24.00 instead of £30.00 and the smaller one (which is the one I have) is priced at the moment at £16.00 instead of £21.00. I went for the smaller option because of limited room and that I have kids to come visit and I am a not a huge person so to me it made sense really lol.
Both sizes are available in Black, Chocolate, Latte, Red and I went for the more neutral tone of chocolate. It is 3 cubic feet in size with a sturdy material handle to the top of it for ease of transportation and looks and feels like brushed velvet though it is made from polyester and overall is very lightweight. It is only wipe clean which is a bit of a pain but then you'd expect that as it is filled with lots of squishy feeling polystyrine balls that are quite robust.
This is simply really soft and comfortable to laze about on, in fact expect fights as to who is sitting on it with the kids. Its robust however I am slightly dissapointed that should I ever want to refill the 'beans' because they have been worn out by bottoms I can't sadly.
Also it being wipe clean means any stains or smells get ingrained on it but like I say I expected that.
The handle this has is soft so it doesn't interere with comfort if sat on at all and all in all I think this is a classy looking item that gives comfort and a slight support (if you sit on it right) and the smaller one I especially recommend for the children though like I say it is not washable or refillable!
Google if interested in these and of course they are available from Kay&co.
