Neutradol Super Fresh Aerosol
Disadvantages: the smell is not nice, could be so much better!
As my dog has been sick a couple of times recently I have noticed a real "doggy" smell at home which is something that I hate. I have been using all manner of things to clean my home and get it back smelling nice and one of the items which I bought was the Neutradol super fresh room spray.
What caught my attention about the Neutradol spray was that it claims to be an odour destroyer which doesn't just mask bad smells but neutralises and destroys them. This sounded ideal to me and so I purchased it. The aerosol spray is green in colour with a blue band with the Neutradol name and a red band with the information that the room spray is an odour destroyer. We are told that it is a super fresh fragrance and that the improved formula will banish bad smells leaving fresh clean air. On the back of the aerosol there are instructions for use should anyone need those but it is pretty self explanatory really as you just point the spray towards the middle of the room and spray a few bursts.
What I noticed when I first used this product was that it was a powerful spray and that I didn't like the smell of it at all! I possibly used too much the first time that I used it as I was a bit over zealous and hoping that the smell would be gone forever! The fragrance claims to be super fresh though but to be honest it just smells very artificial to me and when it is first sprays it makes me cough a lot! What is good about this product though is the fragrance does stay in the air for quite some time so other smells are not noticeable during this time. I currently have a memory foam mattress topper filling out in my bedroom and so I used this spray to mask the smell of the foam which isn't very pleasant and it has done a good job in doing so. I have to say though that when I get up in the morning I can still smell a "doggy" smell at the moment and so this product cannot fully mask that I am sure. The smell is becoming less noticeable but I am mopping with various products and then using this product as well for the moment.
I think this aerosol would probably be ideal for me to use around the house if I actually liked the fragrance but the issue that I have is that oust and brands such as that offer the same claims but smell much nicer in my opinion and I do think this is something that the Neutradol brand could perhaps work on. The aerosol comes in a 330ml can and cost around £1.50 from asda should you be interested.
