      Disadvantages

A great item, shame it can't be bunged in washing machine mind you!

When it comes to buying people unique gifts I usually always go to the store that is Past Times. I love the stuff instore and although I think sometimes it is a little too expensive can't resist things as I know I won't find a lot of their products anywhere else and the quality of their things are simply superb!

This cushion I bought for my soon to be step dad. As someone who has plenty of everything and no hobbies or interests as such there is nothing really present wise I can treat him to without him whinging on at me for wasting my money but I spotted this and thought that it summed him rather nicely!

This cushion includes the cover and the pad and usually is on sale instore and at Pastimes.com for £10.00 though at the moment the store has 25% of everything (again in store or online) and so now costs (and I got it for) £7.50. It is available with Lord Of The Manor written on it and Lady Of The Manor though both are different in design.

The size of this in centimetres is 25 x 33, the cover is made from 57% cotton, 43% polyester front, 100% cotton velvet back and the inner cushion which is white is made totally from polyester and the cushion cover has a zip to the top of it which is rather concealed in a dark blue colour and is fully removable however this item (well the cushion cover anyway) is dry clean only.

The cushion cover is simply gorgeous. Mainly dark blue and totally plain on the back of it, it has a velvet feel so is soft and smooth for the most part. On the front of the cushion it has a boarder embroidered on using gold, red blue and green which to me looks like entwined ribbons. The pattern is beautifully stitched and well finished, vibrant and simply looks very classy indeed. In gold chunky lettering the words Lord Of The Manor are embroidered, again beautifully and very centred giving the cushion a polished and quality look to it.

This is slightly oblong in shape and the cushion pad is quite thick whilst remaining soft. My step father lolls all over his and it simply pings back into shape, the only negative he has told me is that it can't be washed! In our opinion this is simply a nice decorative type of item for the home really!

All in all I think this is a lovely, joky item whilst still being something made well! My step dad likes it anyway so job done!

Only available in and from Past Times.
