... got 20 pegs for my £1.00 and the cardboard sleeve informs the customer that they will be rust free and have rubber tips for a better grip.
Each peg approximately 8cm's long and are 2 shades of pink. The pale pink parts feel like the usual hard plastic pegs are made from and the darker shades have a rubbery feel to them. The arms of the pegs that you press to open it is made from rubbery type plastic, its easy to grip and non slip so the peg wont ping out of your hand. After buying a pink peg bucket from a local independent store I was on the lookout for some pink pegs. The ones I had been using were rubbish. Although they seemed to grip over the clothes line well and seemed quite strong the washing would slide along the line. I would get back from work and a line full of clothes would all have blown up one end of the line and hang there in a bundle. I'm also losing pegs all the time, my youngest cat layla keeps taking them from the peg pot whilst I'm using them and running of with them.
