Post-It Notes and Heart Dispenser
Advantages: pretty, simple to use, sturdy and lasts quite well.
Disadvantages: None at all
I always find that when I need a bit of paper there's none to be found anywhere despite the face that I own several notepads. I think it's because notepads are a little big and unslightly to keep in the kitchen. I was really glad when my daughter bought me this dispenser for my birthday as it's lovely and girly and looks nice enough to sit on the side in my kitchen.
The dispenser came in a clear, plastic box and was sat in a cardboard tray. It's solid and quite heavy which is good because when you pull the post it notes out you don't end up moving the dispenser accross the counter. The dispenser itself is a lovely dark pink colour and has been made into a heart shape. It's a shiny, smooth plastic with a recangular hole in the middle where the post-it notes come from. You re-fill the dispenser by taking the back off and putting a new pack of notes in. It's really simple to do.
When I first got the dispenser, it came with a little packet of pink post-it notes which looked lovely in the pink dispenser. They're like normal post-it notes with the small adhesive strip at the top so you can make notes then stick them on the wall or cupboard doors if you're me. They stick pretty well so they're increidbly handy to use when you're in the kitchen and discover you've run out of something, you can make a note of it and stick it on the fridge to remind you later.
The dispenser is lovely, it's really easy to use and the post-its come out easily. I found myself trying to find excuses to make notes about anything when I first got it just as an excuse to use it. When the pink post-it notes ran out, I bought the normal yellow ones to re-fill it which are available at most places like Asda, Tesco, WHS, wilko's etc for a couple of pound. On my last shop, I discovered a pack of three post-it note pads in different colours for £2. You get a blue pad, pink pad and green pad which look quite pretty in the pink dispenser.
I'd definitely recommend this dispenser, it looks ever so pretty on my kitchen counter and comes in handy on a daily basis. It's ideal for home or work to jot down sudden brainwaves, appointment reminders, shopping items etc. I've had lots of compliments from visiting friends about it. It's sturdy, does the job and looks pretty, what more could you ask for?
You can get these dispensers from a variety of shops and online but make sure you shop around as they vary quite greatly in price. The cheapest I've found them for is £5.99 on ebay but there was the same one on amazon for £18.00 so be sure to find the best price if you buy one!
Summary: A lovely heart shaped post-it note dispenser.
