~ Post It Notes ~
Post it Notes have been around for years and are produced by a company called 3M whom make a lot of stationery products. My mum used to be a secretary and she always used to use the pale yellow coloured Post It Notes on documents and other things. Since then Post It Notes come in a large range of different shapes and sizes. I personally prefer the brighter coloured Post It Noted such as the Neon colour one's which I currently use for work. So what are Post It Notes? Post It Notes are small pieces of squared paper which come in a pad or block. The top underneath side has a sticky strip along the top which means the notes can be stuck to documents and other things as reminders or for other small pieces of information. I always have a pad of Post It Notes on my desk at work as I very often have to right down notes and reminders about things to do the following day. As the Post It notes I buy are always brightly coloured it means that they stand out very well and are easily noticeable. Although the Post It notes are quite sticky there are some things they don't stick to. I always stick them to a wooden shelf above my laptop computer at work and I find that they always fall down within about 4-6 minutes of putting them up there, so I tend to leave them flat on the desk where I will see them the following morning.

~ Price/Availability ~
You can purchase Post It Notes online and from high street stores such as WHSmith. I purchased Neon Sticky Note Cube which contains 320 sheets of multi coloured notes for £3.59. Prices vary depending on what size, shape and colour you want to buy and you may find these cheaper to buy online rather than in store. Stores such as WHSmith also do their own version of these which are cheaper; how-ever they only tend to do them in the canary yellow colour.A small selection of available Post It Notes include:

~ Overall Opinion ~
The Post It Notes I purchased have lasted a good few months and I still have lots left, of course this may not be the same case with other people who use them as they may use the notes more than what I do at work. I love the range of different colours the Post It Notes come in. I personally would only use the standard square sized notes at work and wouldn't eve buy the shaped Post It Notes, how-ever the shaped one's are fun in a novelty way. Post It Notes can be quite expensive; how-ever if you buy cheaper brands I don't think these tend to be as sticky as actual Post It notes. I will continue to purchase these for work as I think they are great and every office desk should have a block of them.
