Living so far from my home town where my lovely parents live, quite often I will send them little things through the post. I like to send them little gifts really of cds, dvds and bits I see on my travels and so for that reason I get through a lot of padded envelopes which is where my local Poundland comes in very handy indeed!

These, in Poundland come in three different sizes. The small ones are ideal for cds and dvds and the ones I buy the most often and you get of them for a pound of course in an 8 pack, then you get the large ones which are quite big for large hardback books and things like that and you get 6 of them and then the very large ones are still a pound of course you get 4 of those in a pack.

The reason I buy these such a lot isn't just cos their cheap. I mean cheap is great of course but I do need quality sending things over 150 miles and not once have these failed me and torn or got wrecked in the post and they have always arrived apparently in the condition I have sent them.

Basically these padded envelopes are a simple concept. Made of brown paper on the outside, plastic bubble wrap on the inside you slide your itme inside, pull off the white strip over a strip of adhesive on the other side of it and press it down and away you go not forgetting to pop the address details on it of course!

They're all round great quality these. Nice and thick, easy to write on and stick down so well you don't need to muck about with extra celleotape and all that!
