Poundland Padded Envelopes
Advantages: sturdy, good price
==Poundland Padded Envelopes==
I tend to buy a lot of stuff which means I have cupboards full of "Stuff" and a lot of the time I try to have a good clear out and decide to put said "stuff" on eBay and the like. This means I am always needing brown paper or padded envelopes and this is where these wonderful Padded envelopes from Poundland come in.
In Poundland there are a few sizes of these envelopes to choose from although each is exactly the same bar from the size. The smaller ones you get the more of them are in a multi-pack and of course the larger size you get the less is in the pack.
I tend to opt for the size that will hold either a CD or DVD as this is what I tend to wrap in them otherwise I will normally wrap up other items such as books etc. in the brown paper which is sold in Poundland in a roll.
For the size I tend to buy there is only 4 of the envelopes in a pack but still for only £1 this still makes each a far cheaper price than if I were to buy them at the post office. The next size down gives you 6 envelopes and the smallest size gives 8 per pack. Although neither of these will comfortably fit a DVD into.
The padded envelopes comes wrapped in a thin plastic which is torn off easily and there is only a paper type of band detailing how many and what you are buying. There is little information on the pack about this product but this is probably as there is not much to say other than the pact that it is a brown padded envelope.
The envelopes themselves are surprisingly good quality. I have seen other reviews which say that the gummed area could be stronger but I must say that I find the glue section to be really good and it works well to compete with the likes of the Post Offices stock they have in. I have never had any problems with not being able to stick down the top of the envelope and if anything I have to be careful to stick it to the right place otherwise I won't be able to re-stick as the glue is very strong.
The material that the envelope is made from it also very strong. It is lined with the bubble wrap which gives it its padding and this does a good job at protecting the item held inside. The outside of the envelope is nice and smooth so I find writing address on these envelopes a real dream as the pen glides across them and I won't ever be able to pierce through the outside (like I so often do when wrapping things in the thinner brown paper).
Really I can't rate these envelopes high enough. I always use these ones when I am posting off my old CDs and DVDs and I wouldn't dream of buying any others that are more expensive when I know that these do the job wonderfully well.
5 out of 5 stars and a high recommendation!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
