Poundland Padded Envelopes
Advantages: good value, good quality
While being into eBay and selling a lot of goods, I always like to make sure that if I am selling fragile items that they are sent in good packaging. The only problem with this is I don't want to charge a lot for postage and the Post Office prices on padded envelopes can be very high. Thankfully, Poundland have made my life so much easier as they sell padded envelopes in all sizes for a competitive rate. I normally buy either the mixed pack of padded envelopes or I will buy the pack of six medium padded envelopes.
These come in a sealed bag and on the front is a label stating which envelopes are included in the pack. They don't look cheap and you can see how many are there and feel the quality, these look great to me and are all I want from an envelope. The range is great in here as you can buy larger envelopes or smaller or medium or mixed. The packaging is light and you can see what you are getting for your money. It also says on the front of these that all of the envelopes are air cushioned with a gummed seal.
POUNDLAND PADDED ENVELOPES
All of these envelopes are your standard tan colour which is fine and when it comes to stuffing these with whatever I am sending it is never a struggle. I always find these are a lot more spacious inside than I think these will be and it is never a struggle to close them. Once my items are in I just straighten out the flap and pull of the sticker and then fasten the flap down and never have any issues with it sticking, it always sticks down perfectly first time. For security, I do add a small bit of cellotape but that isn't because they don't stick, more for my own peace of mind.
Now, the inside is very good air cushioned definitely and very well padded, a good amount, not thin, cheap quality. I think these feel good the paper is smooth and then inside the bubble wrap pads items out very well and I have never had complaints of items turning up with damaged envelopes or broken items because these are very reliable. These do hold quite a lot of weight in them too and I haven't had them rip on me. They are very light to hold too and really are some of the best padded envelopes I have purchased.
Now, when it comes to writing on these, again they are very easy for this, sometimes I have purchased padded envelopes and as soon as my pen has stated to write, it has ripped through the paper easily. This is not the case with these, I use a Bic pen and it writes very well, the ink never smudges on this paper as it seems to absorb ink very quickly and it stays put. When putting an address sticker on these, it also sticks and stays in place even with the paper being smooth stickers will not slide off.
I really cannot say enough about these envelopes, definitely the best value out there and for sellers on eBay like me, these are very good value. A normal pack will last me a good while before I need to buy more and if I do the price isn't bad, it saves for buyers too as it cuts my costs down. To get six medium envelopes in a pack makes them cost roughly 16p each which you will not get anywhere. I always have a pack of these in stock and if you pay more for padded envelopes get to your nearest Poundland now and save.
These envelopes can easily be purchased at all Poundland stores for the obvious price of just £1 no matter what range of envelopes you are buying.
