Advantages: Cheap, effective, sticky

Disadvantages: None

I send a lot of things through the post as I've recently started selling razors and cosmetics on ebay. As I'm only a beginner I haven't yet invested in buying lots of envelopes in bulk which admittedly would be cheaper, but for now I buy my envelopes from my local Poundland as its just so much cheaper buying from there than in my post office.

Poundland envelopes come in 3 different sizes, small, medium and large. I tend to opt for the medium variety as this fits most of the items I sell. The medium pack contains six envelopes for £1 which is 17p per envelopes which I think is very reasonable. The medium packs are about A5 sized or the size of a DVD. They fit quite a few things in them but if you put something a little too thick I sometimes have to post my items as a packet for £2.20 instead of simply a large letter but this is more an issue of my items and not the envelopes!

These envelopes are padded and so I do manage to send most of me goods by just slipping them straight into the envelope. I don't tend to send very fragile things so I'm unsure if this envelope would suffice for something like that however it does appear to have the same amount of bubblewrap as any other branded envelopes I've used.

The envelope shuts by peeling off a white strip and revealing the sticky underside. You simply fold this over and voila. I can be a bit ott and also tend to wrap a few strips of sellotape over this just in case however on its own it does appear to shut down quite firmly.

Overall I would recommend this product. I use them often and they have never failed me. They are sturdy, cheap and effective.

Summary: Good padded envelopes
