“ Brand: Primeur / Misc House Type: Door Mat „
I bought the Primeur runner for the hall as it started getting colder as I couldn't bear walking on the bare tiles in the cold weather! They were freezing! We did not want to put down carpet but we knew we needed some kind of floor covering. We looked around for runners and ended up buying this one from the supermarket.

You can buy this for £7.50 from Sainsbury's which is a really great price and we used the collect service as we did not want to pay for delivery.
This is a cheap and cheerful mat and it serves its purpose. It is not something I think is attractive and when it gets warmer I will be putting it away but in the mentime it is keeping my tutsies warm! The runner is beige so it gets with most decors and it is 57 cm by 150 cm so it fits neatly by the stairs.
The top of the matt is soft with a tight pile and it is finished at the edges. The exterior has a latex finish similar to a bath mat. This ensures that you will not slip and that it stays in place.
I like this runner as it adds a little bit of warm to the hall and it ensures that I can make my way into the living room from upstairs without having to touch cold surfaces! I have yet to wash the mat but you can machine wash it and then leave it to dry flat but you have to have it flat or it will stay curled! The mat vacuums nicely though and despite it being beige, it does not show the dirt much, it is a rather dark beige which is good as it is positioned where we take our shoes off. For £7.50 I really have no complaints about this, even if I throw it out after the winter, which I won't as it is wearing well and still looks brand new, even the latex is not cracked, it was a good investment.
I would recommned it, the only downside is that it comes in any colour; as long as it's beige!
