When I am wrapping a lot of presents I cannot be without my Scotch Tape dispenser which is made by the company 3M.

It is a very handy tool to have and saves a great deal of time messing about with standard sellotape. I know from experience I can never find the ends and also it is a right pain having to cut the tape up. With this dispenser the tape refills come pre-cut and with the dispenser you get one tape pad which contains 75 individual strips of the tape.

The tape dispenser comes with an elastic band that you slip over your wrist, knuckles or fingers. Personally I prefer to have it around my wrist as this is the most comfortable position for me. The tape can then be dispensed using one hand simply by pulling the strip. The dispenser itself costs around £2 and you can find them in supermarkets and stationary shops. The refill strips can vary in price but are approx £2.49 for 3 of the refills.

I find this simple device an invaluable at Christmas time when there are many of presents that need to be wrapped. The dispenser helps to speed up the wrapping process. The wrapping also looks neater as the tape is cut to equal lengths. Plus you have 2 hands to make the hold the wrapping paper firmly. The tape that comes with the dispenser is very nice. It has a satin sheen that blends in nicely with the wrapping paper. It is very easy to pull a strip from the dispenser as the end sticks up through the hole on the top of the dispenser.

The dispenser is very easy to refill you just slide open the door and insert a new tape pad. Then you close the door and you are ready to go. I have just purchased a new one as I lost my old one and they do it in 2 colours now. A dark blue and a turquoise blue. So don't struggle this year try one of these. I love mine.
