I'm not normally a person to pay more than 20 or 30 p for a pen! I received this pen as a Christmas present as I am a big fan of Swarovski jewelry and own most of their limited edition pieces. The Brand: Swarovski is a brand name for Austrian luxury and prestige hand cut crystals. The range includes and not limited to sculptures, miniatures, jewelry, home décor, chandeliers, accessories, earphones, memory sticks etc... All items are marked with the swan logo (which came into play in 1988). However it has been rumored the Swan logo is now being phased out for the new logo which is simply the brand name Swarovski. The Packaging: Once you get passed the infamous blue coloured swan logoed Swarovski bag you will come across a velvet purple pouch. This instantly emphasizes the brand and what it stands for, luxury and quality. When you take the pen out of the pouch you'll realize extra ink is also included! The Pen: It's a ball point pen, which makes it easy to write and of course in any direction without any difficulty. The pen is a white/pearl colour on the bottom half, with a silver tip. You can also get the pen in the following colours: Black, White pearl, Copper pearl and Purple. In order to use the pen you need to rotate the tip of the pen clockwise. Rotate it anticlockwise and it will make the tip of the pen disappear. The colour of the pen is black. The top half of the pen is see through, with lines of hand cut crystals. This is then partially covered by a sliver clip, which enables you to attach the pen to a coat pocket or some papers. The sliver metal part has the Swarovski brand logo From the top end of the pen hangs a very short chain with a single crystal. Swarovski has a range out, which includes a heart, a star, and solitaire. Price: You can buy this range at all Swarovski shops, or department stores such as Debenhams, John Lewis or Fenwick. Retails at £24.00 My Opinion: I don't usually buy expensive pens, as I felt it's pointless. However after using this pen for nearly a month, I have been converted. I love having this pen. I think it's chic very pretty and does the job. Why not add a bit of glamour to everyday life. As a PA I use it all the time so I can justify paying slightly more for it.
