Advantages: Eliminates nappy smells, smells good, cheap

Disadvantages: None from me

Always on the lookout for something to get rid of the smell of a stinky nappy in my house then I thought I would try this air freshener as it claims to eliminate odour and add fragrance. Well I have to say that I did indeed find that it worked!!!

~~THE CAN~~

The air freshener comes in a metal can and is a light blue colour with a picture of grass on the sides and the product name down the centre. The back of the canister has the directions for use and the safety instructions, Tesco's promise and general information about this product. The top of the canister is blue plastic and it has a push down centre whish is how the air freshener is released.

~~USE AND RESULTS~~

To use the air freshener it could not be more simple. You simple push the top of the can on the part indicated and the product is released through a small hole next to this. Now for me this can cause a problem at times as have long nails and it can be an effort to push it down with them. Most of the time I do have a broken one so this is the finger which I have to use.

When the product comes out of the can it can be seen and looks a lot like fine water. It does drop back down onto me if I spray this above my head but I have now learnt not to do this as I don't want to be walking around smelling of it!

I am no scientist and cannot prove if this does in fact eliminate the odours in my house but for me I have found that it does get rid of them. With other sir fresheners I have found that once the initial fragrance of what I have sprayed has gone then I can still smell the awful scent of nappies but with this when the smell has gone then the bad smell is also gone.

The air freshener is supposed to smell like cotton fresh but I have never in all my years of sewing noticed that my cotton has a smell to it. For me the smell is very pleasant and reminds me of being out in a field with a variety of flowers around me, saying this the scent is not at all floral but does have a nice summery and fresh smell. It does last a good time once sprayed and I tend to spray it before going out to school and when returning home I still get the lovely smell when opening up the front door and it really is a nice treat to walk into.

~~WARNINGS~~

There are a few warnings on this product and the obvious being not to spray near face or eye. There are others which are regarding the canister which it comes in and they are to keep it out of the sunlight and away from high temperatures and also not to pierce the canister as it could cause it to explode.

~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~

As this air freshener is made by Tesco then it is only available in their stores. I paid around the 80p mark for a 300ml can which I felt was a great price as other brands can be up to 3 times as much.

~~OVERALL~~

Overall after using this for a good few weeks now I am going to be sticking to it as it really does help remove the bad nappy smells from my house and it leaves a pleasant and lasting fragrance which is always nice to come home to. It is also a great price and works just as well as the leading brands.

Summary: Cheap odour eliminator which smells good
