Advantages: good value, dont fade, long lasting
Disadvantages: could be softer but otherwise perfect
The F&F Basics Tesco Bath Towels were the first towels I bought after moving into student accommodation last year. I chose the turquoise ones as everything in my room is blue, and they have not faded after being washed at all, still lovely and bright. I wash them at 40 degrees
They are not the softest of towels, but are not bad and certainly do the job. Using fabric conditioner would probably help keep them soft, and drying out on a washing line. I dry them on a line in my room and they dont take long to try. There is no sign of fraying on the towels, which usually happens with cheap towels.
My long, thick hair dries quite quickly when wrung and left in a towel-turban using these towels. The dimensions of the bath towel are approx. 70cm x 120cm which is average size for a bath towel. They are made of cotton, with a weight of 530gsm and the label says made in Pakistan. For a price of only £5 each, they are good value and I will certainly be buying more for when I have guests in the summer.
