Tesco Happy Birthday Balloons
Advantages: cheap, easy to inflate, last well, unisex
For my son's birthday this year we had a party at home for some of his school friends and so I needed various decoration bits to decorate the house as it was all quite last minute really. I headed to Tesco as I know they have quite a decent party section in our local store and when I was there I bought a pack of ten happy birthday balloons. This is my review of them.
The balloons came packed in a simple clear plastic pack so that you could see through to the balloons which I think is important as you can get an idea of colours and design in this way. The pack was sealed with a cardboard top which had the Tesco name and the party logo too. The balloon pack looks bright and inviting and will grab your attention whilst it is on the shelf in my opinion.
In the pack you get ten balloons and you get two of each colour these being red, white, blue, green and yellow and so they are quite unisex and would suit either a boy or a girl. On the balloon there is a little picture of a cake and the words happy birthday and what I like about these balloons in particular is the words are the right way up even for when the balloons are hung up for example! The decoration on the balloons just makes them look that bit better than a plain balloon in my opinion.
The balloons felt of a good quality and I was able to blow them up easily enough so I see no reason why someone would struggle to blow these up. They inflated to a good size and I was able to tie a knot in the end of them really easily too but my sister who was helping set up the party had a nightmare and couldn't tie a knot in the end of them! Once inflated the balloons stayed inflated for the duration of the party and actually for a couple of weeks after until I finally decided enough was enough and popped them all! We didn't have any balloons pop at the party despite playing party games with them and so they are a good quality I think.
These balloons are a great way to decorate your home for a party too and I don't think they look childish and so they would be suitable for decorating the house for an adults birthday if that is something that you wanted to do. We tied a few sets of two balloons together to stick to the window and doors and things and they held up well with some string and sticky tape.
I can recommend these balloons for a child or adult birthday party and I will certainly purchase these ones again the next time I need party balloons as they lasted well and seemed strong and good quality. I cant really remember how much they cost me but I think it was around the seventy pence mark and for ten good quality balloons I think this is reasonable.
Thank you for reading my review!
Summary: A good quality balloon
