Tesco Happy Birthday Balloons
Advantages: Cheap, fun
My little girl just turned three and of course, we had a birthday party for her. It was just small as its just after Christmas but we had a few friends and family around. Now, in my opinion I don't think a party is a party without balloons and I know my little girl absolutely loves them so getting some nice balloons was a must for me. All kids I know love balloons and my little boy loves to bounce on them and chase them around the house so the more the better as far as I was concerned.
Tesco do a really nice line in party supplies and its here I bought these Happy Birthday balloons. I have bought numerous things from their range over the years and this birthday as well as buying these balloons I bought a happy birthday banner, some heart shaped balloons and a number 3 candle. What I like about this range from Tesco is that it is cheap. This pack of balloons cost me just £1 which I thought was great value. In the pack you get 10 balloons so that's just 10p per balloon which I don't think you can beat. You can find this range in the same section as the greeting cards and wrapping paper. The balloons come in a see-trhough packet with a bit of cardboard over the top. THe cardboard has stripey colours on it and it says that these are Happy Birthday balloons.
There were quite a few different colours of balloons in the pack which I liked because I wasn't really going for a particular theme for this birthday so I didn't need any one specific colour. I had yellow, green and blues which were nice and vibrant and bright. Obviously when I blew the balloons up the colour got a bit lighter but they were still really nice colours. The balloons have a printed picture of a birthday cake on them and also the words Happy Birthday printed on them.
The balloons were really easy to blow up. They had quite a long neck on them so it was easy to blow and then also it was really easy to tie them up once they were blown up to the desired size. Also, the long neck meant that it made me easy to put these up with some sticky tape as I attached them to the side of the Happy Birthday banner that I bought too. The nice thing was I didn't have to blow them up to the max to get the picture and the words to stand out. The balloons are actually quite thick and so apart from one that popped when my little boy bounced on it, much to his surprise, the rest lasted really well and I still have a few floating around the house now. I like that they lasted a long time as it gives my kids something to play with a throw around.
My daughter loved the inclusion of these on her birthday and thanks to Tesco I didn't need to spend a fortune.
