On my daughter's third birthday last august we had a really fun time at London Zoo and afterwards we continued the celebrations at my mums house by ordering a pizza, cutting some cake and playing a few games with the chlldren. Birthday's only occur once a year and since she is an only child I tried to go all out and make it special so we bought some of these fun balloons from Tesco!

These balloons came packed in a plastic wrapping, with a cardboard top to explain the item and so they can hang on the shelf in store. A pack of the party balloons only cost £1 so really cheap and pocket friendly and I was happy to throw these in my basket along with candles and paper plates etc. There are 10 balloons which are more than enough considering they are only going to eventually get popped! There were various colours, red, yellow, blue etc which are vibrant and look playful. On the balloons is a picture of a birthday cake on them, and it is written "Happy Birthday" which means these are ideal and let guests know it is definitely a birthday party they are attending!

Now, I am a bit rubbish at balloons and take a while to warm my lips up lol, but surprisingly these balloons were really easy to blow up and expanded to a nice decent size. The quality of the balloons are actually quite thick and so although the kids thought it was the most entertaining thing ever to pop the balloons they stayed firm for days (the ones that remained untouched!) and my daughter had lots of fun with them for ages afterwards, throwing and kicking them around. They were even fun for us grown ups who took great pleasure in the game hitting a balloon back and forth and not letting it touch the ground! (yeah we are big kids at heart!)

Overall, these balloons were simple and good quality and we got lots of enjoyment out of them so I recommend them as an ideal buy for anyone wanting some colour and fun to a child's birthday party!
