Advantages: Great fun
Disadvantages: Messy
I love the idea of party poppers but as I use them so infrequently I never remember why I also hate them!
My friend was recently made redundant, and although this may not seem like the time to set off party poppers, he got a very good payout and has another job lined up so it was a reason to celebrate. I popped into our local Tesco store and picked up a bag of 50 party poppers or £2.47, which I though was pretty good value for money overall. The party poppers are designed to look like champagne bottles.
The party poppers come in a clear plastic bag that is easy to open. The party poppers come in a variety of colours ranging from pink, blue, yellow and green. Each party popper is made of plastic and has a cardboard base and attached to the top of the party popper is piece of thickish cotton that you wrap around your finger to release the bits inside the party popper.
Overall the party poppers were a success, most of them went off ok, releasing lots of bits of multi coloured bits of tissue paper onto the floor, shelves, peoples heads, behind furniture, on top of curtains; you get the general picture.
Overall party poppers are always good fun and all the adults I know still like using them now and then, though its just now we are older we have to clear up our own mess! I would recommend to others as they were good value for money, mostly popped and brought a smile to lots of people's faces.
Summary: Easy to use and lots of fun
