Tesco Value A4 White Paper
Advantages: cheap, good quality paper for every day
Disadvantages: none unless you are printing something special and want a more premium paper
I don't have a printer at home but I do still buy printer paper both to give to my mum as she does have a printer and I am forever asking for things to be printed out but also for my son to draw on because I think it can work out much better value than buying specific drawing paper for him. The brand that I always buy is the Tesco value paper.
Tesco value paper comes in a pack of 500 A4 sheets and is ultimately a paper which is designed to be put in the printer or the photocopier. It comes covered in a paper wrap which holds all of the paper in and if you open this quite carefully you can keep the paper stored in there for as and when you need it so I always try to do this. The paper is simple looking because realistically there isn't a whole lot that you can be told about a paper other than the brand name and the purpose in my opinion. We are told that the paper is 80 gsm but this means literally nothing to me to be honest!
There are 500 sheets in a pack of this value paper and they are all a basic white A4 sheet of paper. A pack really does last me a long time and so I don't have to purchase it very often but I will always go back to this product because it costs just £2.35 for the 500 sheets making each sheet cost 0.47pence each so I don't mind so much if my son decides he wants to draw a picture and then makes a mess and wants to start again as we can just pop it in the recycling and not worry too much about the cost of the paper.
Personally I think the paper feels fine and whilst it isn't the thickest paper I have ever come across I think it is pretty much on a par with anything I have ever used both at home and also in a school when I was working in the office and so dealing with photocopying and printing on a daily basis really. The paper is perfectly acceptable quality to be used for printing homework or assignments on in my opinion and it is also really useful for drawing and painting for children too. It is never see through and will withstand a decent amount of paint too when used for that purpose and so I think it is a really decent quality paper for the price.
I would totally recommend this purchase this paper for general day to day printing and art and craft type activities. Obviously if you are looking for a paper which is high quality for printing something special then I would look for a slightly better quality paper.
Thank you for reading my review!
Summary: One I buy time and time again
