Tesco Value A4 White Paper
Advantages: Cheap, ok paper
Disadvantages: Not as nice quality as some
We have a printer at home but to be honest I don't use it that much, its just for the occasional cinema ticket that I print out or directions to someone's house or the odd e-mail. The printer paper that we have for our printer is this cheap Tesco A4 white copier paper.
This ream of paper from Tesco was very cheap. A ream of paper is 500 sheets and that is exactly what you get in this pack. The pack costs just £2.50 which is exceptional value in my opinion. It is packaged in the cheap Tesco red, white and blue and what I like about it is that you can just open the flap at one end of the ream of paper and then can pull out a few sheets when you need them leaving the rest of the paper quite well protected in the wrapping. This way it doesn't get dusty or bent and still stays quite nice. I've probably had the same ream for about a year and am not even half way through it yet, that's how seldom we use it but when we do its nice to know we have a pack of paper there ready and waiting. A lot of the time now it turns into craft paper for my little girl and boy to scribble on with their crayons and pens.
The paper is A4 sized and so it fits into the printer well and into any folder or envelope we choose to put it in after we have printed something out. Obviously as the price suggests this is not the most luxurious paper in the world. There is no water mark on it like you get with some good quality papers and the sheets are fairly thin, not nice and thick either like quality paper. Having said that though the ink does not leak through onto the other side when you have printed on it so its good enough for regular printing.
The paper is white but again I don't think its as crisp and as brilliant as a white as you can get with some better quality paper. It does feel a bit cheap and obviously if I wanted to print out something nice to keep I would probably use a better quality paper but in terms of what we use it for I would say this paper is a very good investment.
