Tesco Value A4 White Paper
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, no tearing/ripping, ideal for everyday uses.
Disadvantages: Cheap packaging but this isn't too much of a problem.
I go through a lot of paper being an open university student that is based a lot online so I always have plenty to print out and as such I didn't want to be spending a fortune on some white paper so when I came across this Tesco Value paper for £2.50 for 500 sheets I decided that it was worth giving it a shot as a lot of the value products I have tried have been of reasonable quality. I got this from my main Tesco which is a large one situated in a retail park, there is another smaller Tesco near me and this also seems to stock it so it is pretty widely available and there seems to be Tesco's here, there and everywhere so it's not too hard to get a hold of.
The paper comes stacked in a bundle with a simple paper covering, the packaging is very plain and simple and to be honest I just took the whole stack of paper and put it into my letter filer thing to keep it together. You could if you wanted lift the flaps on one of the ends to keep the paper together but as I said I got rid of the covering.
The paper itself is of regular size and feels quite thick, it's not of super quality of course but it isn't transparent and you can print on both sides although to be honest I tend to just print on the one as it's a pain to do both sides with my printer but it can be done if you desire it. The paper is white, not an off coloured white but pure white which is good I think. It hasn't got snagged or torn in my printer which has happened on a couple of occasions with other brands so I think this is a good test of it's quality. The ink I have found hasn't seeped through the paper which is again a problem I have encountered in the past. The ink is very readable on the paper and you can also highlight and write on it as normal with no problems. My son has also used this paper for painting, stickers and colouring and we have still yet to have any problems with ripping or tearing which I think is excellent.
Overall I think this is a really good buy, you wouldn't want to print wedding invitations on this but you can use this for everyday matters, general printing and anything else you might need. I would definitely recommend this paper to anyone and I have purchased on several occasions and will do so again.
Summary: An excellent paper for your general printing and household needs.
